Chapter 7: Found

   *A few weeks later*

Michael POV

“I want to take Lilly shopping today. I just don’t know if she’ll come, she doesn’t seem to be the type who likes getting help from anyone, she’s more the type of person who’ll do everything alone.” I thought to myself as I got out of bed. I went to the kitchen and made me a cup of black coffee with 2 sugars. “I don’t care if she doesn’t want my help, she’s getting it anyway.” I thought, while drinking my coffee.  I looked at my watch it 8:30 so I should get leaving if I wan to meet Lilly at 9:00. I got in my car and went to the waterfall. I got out and walked over to where Lilly was sitting.

(M is for Michael, L is for Lilly)

M: “Hello.”

L: “Hello, what’s our plans for today?”

M: “I’m taking you shopping.”

L: “No, Michael. I don’t do shopping.”

M: “Well, today you do, and I’m not taking no for an answer.”

We got in my car and went to the nearest town. I took her to the mall. It was a very big place. The mall was 3 stories high. We walked in and I could see she wasn’t finding it fun, but I didn’t care, I wanted my future girlfriend to look amazing. We went into our first store, which was Identity. She looked around and I saw her looking at a white shirt with dark blue dots.

(M is for Michael, L is for Lilly)

M: “Do you like it?”

L: “Yes, I do.”

M: “I’ll buy it for you.”

L: “No, I can’t ask you to do that.”

M: “You’re not asking, I’m telling you I’ll pay for it.”

Before she could respond I took the shirt and headed for the till. The rest of the day went smoothly because she didn’t argue anymore and let me pay for the clothes. We left the mall with almost 20 shopping bags and went back to the waterfall and said goodbye. I went home and found Clayton waiting for me. he had on a green shirt and dark blue jean with sneakers.

(M is for Michael, C is for Clayton)

C: “Where were you I tried calling like 5 times, but you didn’t pick up.”

M: “Really?” I took my phone out and saw the 5 missed calls from Clayton. “Oh, what was so important?”

C: “The meeting with Carlo, you missed it.”

M: “Oh, s**t that right. I forgot about the meeting. Let’s go inside then you can fill me in.”

We went inside and sat down in the living room.

M: “So what did they say about the expansion?”

C: “Well Carlo doesn’t want to move forward with his plan until that werewolf girl is out of the picture. Have you found her yet?”

M: “No, I haven’t found her yet, she’s difficult to track down.”

C: “Carlo said he’ll send out a search party to try and find her.”

M: “Okay. Thank you for the update.”

Clayton left and I sat alone in the house with my own thoughts. If Carlo finds her, he’ll have her killed. I can’t lose her. I need to warn her tomorrow morning.

*THE NEXT MORNING*

I overslept and rushed out of the house to get to Lilly to warn her about Carlo. On my way out I bumped into Clayton.

(C is for Clayton, M is for Michael)

C: “Why are you in such a hurry?”

M: “Clayton what are you doing here?”

C: “I came to see if your ready to do recon on that werewolf girl.”

M: “I thought you said Carlo still had to authorize the search?”

C: “He authorized it this morning. We are just waiting for you.”

M: “Okay, let’s go.”

We left my house with Kaylee, Haylee, Sam, Harry, John, Kayla and Donna. I was worried that we might find Lilly and she would be killed. We arrived in the woods and divided into 3 groups. Clayton, Kaylee and Haylee in one group.

Me, Sam and Harry in a second group and John, Kayla and Donna in the last group.

Clayton’s group went to search near the house, my group took the river and John’s group took the mountainside. We were walking when we got near the waterfall, I knew Lilly would be there so I had to get them away from her. “Over there!” I yelled as they ran to the other side I ran to Lilly.

“Lilly, you need to leave now.” I said out of breath. “Why what’s wrong?” she asked with a worried look on her face. “The vampires they’re….” I got cut off in the middle of my sentence. “We found her!” yelled Sam. Harry contacted the others while Sam gave me a pat on the back. Lilly transformed. “help me catch her Michael.” He said and moved to the other side of her. I couldn’t help them get Lilly but if I didn’t they would kill me and capture her anyway. At least if they think I’m on there side I can still get Lilly out. I thought to myself. The others showed up and we surrounded her. We took her down and held her tight, while Clayton got the chains out of the car. We chained her up and took her to Carlo.

When we got there we took her in to Carlo’s study. He seemed very pleased to see that we brought her in.

(C is for Carlo, H is for Harry)

C: “I see you finally found the wolf that’s been causing me a headache.”

H: “Actually Michael found her, if it wasn’t for him we would still be out there looking.”

C: “Well done Michael, you did me a huge favour by bringing her in.”

He walked over to Lilly and held her head up so that she would look him in the eyes. “You caused me a lot of trouble little pup.” He said. He ordered Harry and Clayton to take her away. “Where are you taking her?” I asked. “To the dungeon.” He said with a smile. “So you’re not going to kill her?” I asked. “No, I have something better in store for her.” He said.
