Inviting his parents

Scarlet's POV 

RING... 

"Hello my baby bird how's your day going sweetie? Did your meeting go well with King David? He's a good guy, and it's so sad about his wife. I remember her, she was such an amazing woman standing beside him. Oh, what about his daughter? Did you meet her? Is s her as gorgeous as her mother? Can I convince David to arrange something between you two?" With that we both burst into laughter," Wait, who is that? There's a woman with you! Did you find your mate? Oh I'm sorry about that whole arrangement thing if you found your mate. Although that better not be some... " She starts to say before Gideon growls silencing her. 

"Mom! SHE'S NOT ANYTHING OF THE SORT! SHE'S MY MATE, MY FOREVER, AND MY LIGHT! MINE!" De says growling. 

"De, baby it's okay. She's your mom she didn't mean anything bad to me. he just wants her baby bird to finally be happy and complete." I say soothingly to my frustrated mate to calm him down. 

"Awe! I love her already. MICHAEL! Our baby bird found his mate, and she can calm him down. It's so sweet they sound adorable, and she calls him De. It's so cute!" she yells at I'm assuming De's dad. De chuckles into my neck as he inhales my scent. 

"Okay, honey your dad's here too, and you're on speaker now." His mom states

"Hey son, and I'm guessing my daughter in law if I heard my wife right." he says smoothly. 

I blush and bury my head in De's chest, and he chuckles again, "Hey dad, and yes my mate is right here." he states and pinches my side, and I squeak. 

"Hello Mr. And Mrs. Blake." I say softly

"What's your name sweetie? You can call me Angie!" his mom coos

"I'm SSG Scarlet Seal. Oh, I'm sorry Princess Scarlet Seal, and King David is my father." I say proudly 

"OH MOON GODDESS! GIDEON YOU COULD HAVE WARNED ME BEFORE I STARTED SAYING ALL THAT!" Angie yelled and squealed at the same time making me giggle. 

"Good for you son, she's a fighter though so I wouldn't piss her off if I were you. Her dad trained her personally I'm sure, and you know how strong and fierce he is as a fighter. I'm barely a match for him so I'm sure his daughter is the same. Don't piss her off!" Michael chimes in making me bust out laughing. 

"He's right you know I could kick your ass. I've wanted to twice now last night and earlier this afternoon..."I started to say when Angie cut me off, 

" WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER? " she yelled 

" Well, last night I crashed her birthday party, and I already apologized for that, but she just shifted because of her wolf type. She had also just been told before she shifted about who she really was and our kind right before she shifted." De starts to say, and I press my finger to his lips. 

I continue, "I literally just had been told about being a werewolf and shifting for the first time about two hours before he burst into the club. As smart as I am I didn't know that I was a real princess. I just always thought that it was his way of keeping me his little girl, not that I mind I'll always be his little girl. He's all I've had for so long now. Then when your son burst through the doors of my club I was really mad someone dared to interrupt my birthday party. Honestly I was trying to forget that I had a whole other world dropped in my lap. I mean I have had pyrokenesis since I was 16 but I didn't know I was anything more. I smelt him before I saw him, and my wolf Serenity tried to tell me what it was but I was so mad that I wasn't trying to listen to her. I feel bad that I did get mad at him, but he explained and we enjoyed the rest of my initial birthday party. I brought him back to the compound with me and my friends/team. My dad was really mad at first when he saw some guy holding onto me, but when we told him we were mates. He calmed down a little after he realized that it was Gideon, and now that I think about it before I introduced you he had a hint of recognition like he knew your name before I said it. Anyway then my dad got all salty, pouty, fatherly, and threatened to kill him if he hurt me. I'm sorry my dad threatened him but I do know that he will follow through." I say honestly as I can.

"Oh, I love her! But honey if my little bird hurts you David will have to get in line behind Mike and I first." Angie says in a harsh manner. 

"Your mom is right you know Gideon if you hurt her David will have to get in line. Did the boys and your sister make it? " Mike says in his fatherly tone. I giggle and kiss De on the cheek as he looks like a deer caught in headlights. 

"Mom, Dad you know I would never hurt her intentionally. Although we did have a slight problem when Sarah and the boys showed up this afternoon. She's my universe if she's not with me then I'm lost in the darkness. We were wondering if you wanted to come next Friday for the Mating Ceremony here. Then we can have one at our palace in Cyprus. Once we do that though we will be going to hunt down the two Rogue 'Alphas'." He says. 

"Oh yes, of course we'll be there, and we'll bring your other siblings as well too. What do you mean you had a slight problem are they okay?" Angie asks

" Yes mom they're here and unharmed and they've all found their mates amongst my mates team and best friend. The slight problem was that Sarah just jumped out of the SUV and straight into my arms, and Scarlet got a little upset but we got it all figured out before anyone was injured. They're all spending time with their mates right now which is why they probably haven't called." De says simply. 

"Wait! So my mischievous bird found her mate too, and my adopted boys!" Angie squeals and I tuck my head into Gideon's neck. I'm going to have to get used to the loud squeals somehow. 

De chuckles playing with my hair, "Yes Angie, she's mated to my Beta Cyrus, and he's kind, strong yet soft hearted. Beta Seth is mated to my best friend Shelby, Delta Lance is mated to to my 1st Gamma Brad, and 1st Gamma Charles is mated to my 2nd Gamma Victor. Unfortunately my Delta Axel has yet to find his mate, but my dad assures me that the Moon Goddess will bless him when the time comes." I say in my own motherly voice. 

"I knew this trip would be good for all of them!" she yells excitedly and I can practically see her fist pumping in the air. Gideon kisses my cheek, and I giggle. 

"Okay son we'll be there Wednesday so we can get to know our knew family a little more." Mike says before Angie cuts him off. 

"Oh, I can bring a few of our unmated females and your sister Emma still hasn't found her mate yet, but Emily found her mate yesterday too. It's Scott our second grade warrior! How exciting is that! So now only two of my babies need their mates." she starts crying and Mike begins to comfort her, " All of our babies are leaving the nest sweetie, and hopefully we'll have lots of grand pups to take care of." 

Gideon burst out laughing and I look at him like he's crazy, " What's so funny babe?"

"You and my mom are both matchmakers! First you with Shelby and Seth getting her to come greet the guests. Then you tried to get David to help Axel to find his mate. Now my mom bringing some unmated females to try to see if they are Axel's mate." De says still laughing from his belly. 

"Awe, don't they sound just like us when we met baby?" Angie asks Mike. 

"Yes, dear now let's let them spend time together, and book our flight and get everything in order to leave Wednesday." Mike says trying to get Angie off the phone. 

"Oh, yes right. Okay we love you guys! See you Wednesday! Ciao." Angie says excitedly. 

"Bye! Love you too." we say in sync. De ends the call, and and spins me onto his lap so I'm straddling him. He plays with my hair, and starts kissing me all over my face and neck. When he gets to my mark and kisses it a small moan escapes my lips. 

"See Tesoro I told you that they would love you." he says before colliding his lips with mine. Separating enough that our foreheads are still touching, but we can catch our breath. 

"Baby, we should go let Derrick and Serenity spend some time together before the BBQ party." I manage to breathe out.
