Ris and Leah frantically explained to Brayden what took place at the restaurant. Brayden told them they'll have to leave immediately he also advised Ris that her mom needs to leave with them because her safety is also threatened. The waitress was a hunter, her tattoo signified that she was apart of the largest hunting group in the country (moonlight). They hunt moon creatures that uses the moonlight to gain strength and power. That's the meaning behind their name their tattoo is a moon with light beaming around it. They are sort of mocking the moon light shifters. They are govern by rules, one of their main rule is that whoever recognize a shifter first is in charge of that hunt. They don't kill shifters unless they are a threat. They make it there every business to study and understand their prey. To have an advantage. Ris had no idea she was being monitored and for how long. She thought they were being careful. "okay so I have to tell my adopted mom that I'm a werewolf, just greattt ugghhh" Ris said not knowing how at all she's going to do that. "she'll love you no matter what Ris, she won't be afraid of you" Leah said hoping to comfort her best friend. The three packed as many things they can for their trip they helped Leah pack her stuff and head back to Ris home and call it a night. They wanted to make sure Ria was in great head space to handle the news. Brayden slept in the guess room while Leah slept with her best friend. When Ria arrived she told the trio that she's exhausted and just wants to take a shower and head to bed. They decided that since she worked overnight they'll allow her to shower but it's important that they get on the road the trip before them is long and dangerous. Brayden safety isn't that much of an issue as he belongs to a pack. But there are wolves rogues and wolves belonging to a pack that might be able to pick up on Ris not belonging to a pack. The hunters are also not to be trusted. There have been many instances where they attacked wolves which was not a threat and they teamed with rogues to attack their intended target. They class it as wolves against wolves so it won't appear that they broke a rule. The waitress didn't look like a person who follow many rules. "I left y'all sitting in thisvsame exact spot earlier, whats up?" Ria looked at Ris and smiled. "mom we've got something really important to tell you" Ris said while looking at the flowers on the table. "ammm I love you, but you got something to tell her this is a you situation" Leah joked. Ria looked at the three and their faces were expressionless she don't have a clue what's going on but she had a feeling something was off. She made herself a cup of coffee and sat. "ok I'm ready for what y'all want to talk about, I'm open to anything you have to say Ris." Ria gave her daughter a reassuring look. "mom I'm a wolf" Ris said in her softest voice "I didn't hear you sweetie" Leah and Brayden chuckled Ris is always confident in what she has to say this look isn't her best. "I'm a wolf" she said more confidently. "I was beginning to think that your mom was also a wolf with that whisper you let out before" Winx laughed. "OK I'm guessing you two are here for an intervention with her and letting her know she may need a therapist" Ria said eyeing the other two persons in the room. "No mom, I'm really a wolf I have abilities you won't even believe" Ris said. Ria tried pinching herself to wake up from the dream she was having she believed she knocked out in her office and didn't reach home as yet. ."aunt Ria you are not asleep" Leah couldn't help but laugh remembering her first time with the news. Ria can't understand why Brayden and Leah looked so calm and comfortable with what Ris is saying. "OK I'm the only sane one in this house right now" Ria said. "no ms. Ria, she is a werewolf" Brayden said. Ria finished drinking her coffee while looking at the trio in front of her trying to figure out what cult did these three got themselves in to. Why are they trying to be like a fictional creature are they that obsessed. She decided that she's going to play along with their little game to see how far they'll most likely take this. "it's Brayden right, are you a werewolf too?" "yes ma'am I'm also one" Brayden replied smirking, Ria rolled her eyes and looked at Leah "nope ma'am I'm purely human just like You, you don't even have to ask that" Leah said while waving her hand to signal that she's sane. "Ris your dad best friend is a therapist he'll see you for free but I'll have to work a price for Brayden." Ria said Ris looked at her mom she wanted to be angry but she remembered when she was thirteen and heard Winx speaking to her for the first time she thought she was going crazy. She told her mom not to be afraid Brayden stand right behind her mom while Leah sat at the opposite end of the table. Ris effortlessly shifted in front her mom she sat on the ground beside her and raised her fury head at her mom. "hi Winx" Leah blushed "it's still me" Ris said Ria looked at the beautiful wolf in front of her eyes glowing in a deep rich gold. She couldn't help but pass her hands through the silky white fur she felt safe. She couldn't believe how comfortable she was feeling. She wasn't afraid of the creature in front of her she felt at peace. "Ris I love you doesn't matter what you may or may not be" Brayden saw a light emitting from Ris eyes and he doesn't understand what that means but he has a feeling that Ria being calm has something to do with that light. He never saw Ris eyes glow gold before, this girl is amazing and has abilities beyond their imagination he thought. "now the adopted papers made sense, I always wondered why it was so ridiculously written. Your dad and I never questioned it because we didn't want to lose you at any chance." Ris turned back into her human form while looking at her mom in surprise.
