Alpha Tate

I looked at the maps that lay on my desk. This is one of the bigger human camps that we've planned to invade and they are growing at a rapid rate. It's been tough to keep up. "If we come from the east side it's less guarded and we have the element of surprise. Plus, I doubt they would plan on us going from the small camps of maybe twenty humans to two hundred. Then have a small team placed on the north side as back up." "The scouts reported that most of the guards gathered at the north side. We have a chance of them being noticed and overran if it's only a small group." My Beta Braxton said. "We come from the East and West sides squeezing them out and forcing a divide. How many guards did the scouts count?" "Roughly one fifty." "So we will bring two hundred to be on the safe side to not have any problems, then we can easily round up all the humans. We're the barracks emptied out Brax?" "Yes this morning." "These camps are popping up so fast I don't know if we are going to be able to keep up are the new humans beginning training soon?" A knock at the door caught us both off guard after being so immersed. "Come in." "Alpha Tate Beta Braxton the men are ready to leave." "Ok we are coming." "East and west" we both say in unison before walking out the door to the waiting suv's. My wolf stirred inside me at the excitement it was about to incur in this battle and it would be against my nature to say we didn't thrive on it. "With this large of a group, we will have to double up the rooms, maybe even triple in a few of them, maybe if there's any children." Braxton said as we made our way past the busses to our waiting suv. "Were the scouts sure of how many humans were held underground?" "They were unsure I accounted for us to have an extra fifty in case." "How have the other humans adjusted moving out of their trial homes?" "Very well actually thirty of them have found mates within the past two groups and fifteen from this last group are starting the infantry training program when we return." "Fantastic." Four years ago Braxton and I led a small group attacking small human camps and bringing them back to the pack. Training them and they have become valuable members. Other wolves view them as worthless, weak sacks and I aim to prove them all wrong. We parked the busses and suvs a few miles away from camp to not alert anyone. The men quickly shift before going to their groups awaiting orders. Myself and Braxton shift, the freeing feeling of my bones readjusting and fur sprouting over my body, my face elongating until it fully formed into my snout. Landing on all fours, I shook out my black fur feeling excited about the fight before us. Braxton walks up to me his dark gray wolf bowing his head before going over to his group. "Braxton's group will go east. My group follow me west. When you hit the check point, wait on my order, remember to save as many humans as possible." I mind link everyone. Yes Alpha! Running to the check point, my wolf was giddy jumping around. I didn't quite understand it hes usually excited about a good fight to assert his dominance, but this was different, something different. Weaving through the trees I check to make sure everyone is accounted for at my end and ready. Linking to Braxton, "Everyone accounted for?" "Yes, all ready here on your order." "Three two one go!" They quietly make their way through the field, taking out the few guards that were scattered about. One charged at me and I sink my teeth into his neck, hearing the quick snap before dropping his body and moving towards the main building. A large group was coming off from the north towards us and I ver off toward them with my men in tow. Taking them out two at a time, ripping out their throats or slashing them with my claws. We plow through them with Braxs team on the opposite end, squeezing them out. I went for a red wolf pinning one of my men to the ground when a smell hit my nose. Apples and cinnamon mixed with something I couldn't place. I was distracted for a second by the intoxicating smell that the red wolf was able to knock me over, but ran right into Braxton. Poor thing didn't stand a chance as Brax was double its size, the man was like a bull.
