She stepped over the threshold, looking deeper into the dark space that had opened in front of her. Further in there were fluorescent lights on the walls, Leila followed them, walking deeper into the tunnel. A cold breeze awoke her from her trance, Leila shivered and wrapped her arms around herself, she started to turn around and walk back down the tunnel towards her room, when suddenly she heard a noise, "no no no no no" she shouted and ran down the tunnel and just as she had feared, the wall was up. She hammered her fists against it in vain, then she felt for a keypad, but there was nothing other than a cold hard wall.
Leila put her head in her hands and slid down the wall, there she sat slumped on the ground, wondering what to do next.
She remembered the small breeze that had made her shiver, "where there is wind, there must be an opening." She thought. Slowly she stood up and dusted herself down "here goes nothing" she muttered and walked down the tunnel. The tunnel was straight at first, but after a few minutes there were sharp turns and soon after Leila had totally lost her bearings "luckily theres only this one tunnel and not multiple going off to the sides" she thought.
Leila's mind wandered off, back to the day before, she really liked Vitus, eventhough he kind of kidnapped her, he hadn't given her any creepy vibes. She knew he had never had a proper relationship, but something inside herself told her, that he wasn't a complete lost cause, he liked her, she could tell that. But she was afraid, afraid that she would just be another one of his many whores.
Leila sighed, Vitus didn't matter now anyway, after all, she was trapped in an underground tunnel. She didn't know how long she had been walking for, the cold breeze had been blowing softly for what felt like a rather long time, she didn't have a clue where she was and to top it all off, she desperately needed the toilet.
A strong wind slapped Leila in the face and blew angrily in her face, she looked around, she had been daydreaming and she hadn't noticed that there were no lights here, she was surrounded with black darkness. Leila carried on "I haven't come this far to stop now." She told her self, pressing her whole body against the stong wind and squeezing her eyes closed. The wind dropped so suddenly that Leila nearly fell to the ground. There infront of her, was a clearing. "The tunnel! It has an opening!" She squeeled excitedly. Leila ran towards the opening and smacked right into something hard. "Arrgh" she groaned and rubbed her shoulder, which had hit the hard object first. Leila looked up, there was a large rock to the side infront of her, but it had been placed so strategically that when she stood a few steps back it looked like a large opening. Leila peeped out from behind the rock, over the top of the bushes, which were a few steps away from the rock, there was a grassy area and then all she could see behind it was a dark sky. Leila wondered where she was, she wrapped her arms around herself tighter and climbed through the bushes. Her teeth chattered as she stepped out into the open and she cautiously looked around at her surroundings.
