Raven in the Sky
The raven in the night, She flies by moonlight, She flies through sunset and rainbows, through dark clouds and lightning, from heaven through hell and back again, Never destiny to see ground again, always staying skywards, yet never being grounded, reaching for the stars and the skies that holds them, being seen in darkness when they found her, she made it to the skies and shine but sadly only with wings of angels, her glory never being an earthly thing, every night I'll look up at the stars because I know amongst them is Raven, in the sky with space diamonds (this poem is impaired by *Raven* aka Alyssa Gomez. Such as sad story. It moved me to write a poem because she can't write poems anymore so it is my job to write all that I can for those who can no longer do so. R.I.P. Alyssa Gomez)
I wrote this back I 2008 about the tragic life and death of Alyssa Gomez and though it’s just a short poem I was moved by her story back then and in re-reading this poem and going back into articles about everything that was said and done I am still even more moved. So I had to share.
