I took a deep breath and turned toward her, trying to keep my voice calm. “Lira, there’s nothing to worry about.
Henry stood silently behind me, his eyes soft but unreadable. I could tell he wanted to say something, but he held back, respecting the space I needed.
Lira raised an eyebrow but didn’t press further. “Are we safe?” she asked.
“Yes, we’re safe,” I replied, offering her a reassuring smile. “Henry will help us get home safe. For now, we need to focus on getting some rest.”
Lira didn’t look convinced, but she nodded. “Alright. Just... be careful, okay?”
