Gevia's P.O.V "A long-lost twin at this age? Are you f*****g with me?" Alex's disbelief was written all over their face. Aeron, on the other hand, was obviously enjoying the mess that she had caused. I shook my head. They seemed like both fire and water, colliding against each other. Neither is compatible with the other. "Come on, Twinnie. I know you can do it. And I bet you had an idea already." Aeron teased with an irritating grin. I don't know what I should feel. Two Alex- I mean the Samsons were right beside me. I was sandwiched between two handsome people. Imagine any girl's fantasy of getting sandwiched between two handsome people. It was a dream come true. "I had an idea. Yeah." Alex's cool and low voice was fighting for dominance against Aeron's giggle. "You did?" I asked. "Of course. It's normal for the mafia to have these." Was it really that much to even consider it normal? Isn't the world kind of scary? Alex had a different smell from Aeron, and their voices varied too. Everything else looked identical. "I see." "Was that yellow sports car yours?" Alex asked. I knew it. They saw me get out of the car and saw me waving. It made me want to explain things to Alex even though I didn't have to. What were we anyway, for me to explain things? I felt like I was betraying Alex if I didn't explain. What is this gross feeling? "Yes, and I'm now taking back my princess." Aeron said. What was this weirdo talking about? "Princess?" Alex asked with raised eyebrows. Aeron smirked and pulled me towards her. Our bodies collided with each other, making me hold on to Aeron's arms. Alex didn't like the contact. Their face displayed that of distaste and disgust. What the hell was happening? Where were the captain and Joshua? I gritted my teeth, unsure of what to do in this situation. "Yes, Princess. She's my Princess." Aeron said. I looked at Aeron in disbelief. "What princess?" I asked. "You're my princess. I'm finally here to take you away from Alex." Was she living in a fantasy world? Does she want me to reel her back to reality? Does she think that I need saving when I can completely live on my own and solve my own problems? And why the hell does she think that I need saving from Alex? If I wanted, I could just ignore this motherfucker if I wanted to. "What the f**k do you mean?" I asked, and Alex laughed. "Dude, she doesn't need some knight in shining armor." Alex spoke with humor. Of course, Alex would say that. I did turn down Alex's offer to take me home. Not when a lot of eyes were watching us. I wonder what happened to Alex when a lot of eyes saw us getting some ice cream, leaving school and Alex carrying my bag. "You don't have a say in this," Aeron said. "Wait, so you knew that you have a twin?" I asked Alex before pushing Aeron away. I detached myself from Aeron's hug and stood on my own. Okay, that was definitely weird. What happened to keeping all of this a secret? But then again, it is a small world. You'd be bound to see everyone if you just wander enough. It was actually kind of weird that it got past Alex this late. I looked at them and I spotted a few differences. Aeron had almost invisible freckles while Alex had clear skin. Alex had a slit on their left eyebrow while Aeron didn't have one. "Thanks to the captain, I kind of had to investigate." Alex grabbed my hand, pulling me into them. Aeron grabbed my other hand and pulled me. That went for about twenty minutes before I finally got sick of it. "f*****g stop it! I'm getting dizzy." I yanked both of their hands away, stepping away. They were dangerous. They even ignored me and went to glaring at each other. I sighed, running my fingers through my hair. "I want to ask you something, Aeron." Aeron's face lit up when I mentioned her name, while Alex groaned. "Yes?" she sounded like a puppy. "Were you the one behind what happened yesterday?" that caught Alex's attention. "Oh? How'd you know?" she asked so innocently, like what she had done didn't affect everyone. Did she think that that was so measly, so as to compare it to a bite of a mosquito? "That's not a question of how I knew, but why did you do it?" "Wait, so you're telling me, this meathead is the reason for that shooting?" Alex went to my side and looked at Aeron. "Of course. I take full responsibility for what happened." she was so proud that I wanted to kick her in the balls- if she had any. "What if you injured someone? What if a stray bullet killed someone!" I hissed angrily. What was this girl thinking? Does life even matter to her? Lives of countless clueless fellow students. Like, what the actual f**k? I've never met someone so careless and carefree. Maybe that's what differs. "What? I made sure there weren't any, and if, just if, that were to happen. I can pay for the hospital bills or the coffin." "We're not talking anymore." I said and walked away, but Aeron grabbed my hand, preventing me from walking away. "Gevia, wait. I did all of those for a reason." "What I was waiting for. Stop touching me." Aeron let go of my hand. Alex was just beside me, watching and waiting. They were listening to our conversation and was spectating what was going to happen. I honestly don't care at this point. What she did was horrible and- I just hate it. "Gevia, I did all of this to prevent you from meeting up with Alex after the pageant." "What?" "Really?" Alex asked, amused. I was in utter shock. Now I am really pissed. She did all of that just for that pathetic reason? Should I bang Aeron's head into a cemented wall? I think she has a few screws loose. "Yes. I've had enough of seeing you two hooking up." she glared at Alex while Alex threw their hands in the air. "Guilty." I could tell that Alex was having so much fun. "I liked Gevia before you. It's only meant for Gevia and I to become an item." "What the f**k are you talking about?" I asked. "Gevia, you'll be safer with me. If you go with Alex, you will be-" Alex threw a punch at Aeron's left cheek. Aeron stumbled a few feet back, touching her left cheek. Alex's amused look was now gone. The menacing look on Alex's face was scary in my opinion. It made me back a bit, afraid to even ask why Alex did that. Did Aeron touch a sensitive topic? "Heh, you didn't even tell Gevia anything." Aeron stood up straight, spitting before cracking her neck. It looked like Aeron was fighting herself in this situation. A mirror, if I might say so myself. "Shut up, Aeron." Alex growled in a low tone. "What are you gonna do about it, Alex, huh? I've been quiet my whole life, but seeing how you were willing to put Gevia's life in danger made me step in." What was it about my life being in danger? What were they even talking about? My life has always been in danger, and I don't think anyone can stop that from happening. I was born into a mafia family. That alone is enough for my life to be considered as dangerous. But I didn't have the courage to speak up. These two were on fire. "I'm not putting her life in danger," Alex simply stated. "Oh, yeah? You think? Didn't dad send someone to tail you?" "You don't know what you're talking about." "Dad tells me everything." "You think I care?" It seems that Alejandro likes Aeron, while he dislikes Alex. I wonder why. Was it because Alex was a public figure? I want to ask daddy, but he's been so busy lately. Would he be angry if I asked more about Alejandro's family? Wait, but daddy did ask how Alex was. He must've known something. Aeron scoffed. "Of course not. I just want to tell you that dad tells me everything when it comes to you." "I don't f*****g care." "Including what would happen if-" Alex threw another punch, but this time, a bit stronger than the last one. Aeron flopped to the ground like a fish fresh from the sea. "Alex, stop." that was too much. Of course, I was still angry, but Aeron is still Alex's twin. You don't do that to your own blood relative, especially if he or she is your twin. But come to think of it, they practically ignored each other's presence before this one. "Don't talk bullshit to me, Aeron. You think I don't know what's going to happen if I follow through?" Aeron got back up and threw a punch at Alex, but barely. Aeron missed by just a strand of hair. Alex saw that opportunity to uppercut Aeron. "Alex!" I grabbed Alex's arm and pulled them into me. The difference in skill was obvious. As if I was rematching the captain fight back when Alex beat him up. "You better watch your mouth, Aeron. I've got my eyes on you." Alex said before walking away, leaving me and Aeron alone. When Alex was gone, Aeron sat up, spitting again. I sighed. "What are you on about, Aeron?" "I like you. A lot. I knew of your existence the moment I met my dad." "I don't get it. Why would you do all of that? You're exaggerating." Aeron shook her head before looking up at me. Her handsome face was now bruised and swollen. "I'd do anything for you, Gevia." I sighed. "I don't need that, Aeron. We have a very different understanding of life.I don't think we see each other eye to eye." "We could try and make it work, please?" it pains me to witness that Aeron was almost practically begging. I shook my head. "I'm sorry, but after what you've done? I think I've seen enough."
