Sports Event (1)

Third Person's P.O.V "The sports event is fast approaching. It's almost here." "I know, right." "I want to see the players already!" "God, I hear that they're competing pretty harshly this year." "I want to see Brandon so badly." Students around the campus were talking about the upcoming sports event. They were excited about seeing their favorite players play their favorite games. The athletes were popular, especially in Alex's and Gevia's school. Not only was this school the elite of all elites, this school was also known for being the best of all the best. With an overall rating of 98% in all high school fields. Music, Dance, Sports, E-Games, Painting. Theater- everything. The most well-known school in the country. "They're so excited about the sports event." Gevia couldn't help but notice. "Mhm, they are. Well, the players are handsome." Joshua stated flatly, not really feeling it today. He dreaded the sports event. Although he was also excited, he dreaded the sports event. Because he knew that he would be searched in the crowd. Their eyes would get locked, and that would cause some internal turmoil inside of Joshua. Joshua wasn't ready for that. Joshua wasn't ready for his resolve to fade and disappear. He wanted to continue with his resolve. He was the one that asked for it. He was the one that ended everything. He doesn't want to be the one who'll break his own decision. He hates taking things back. The damage has already been done and he will seem like a hypocrite when he does so. "Are they?" Gevia asked, unsure if she even knew one. Then it flashed to Gevia. When she and Joshua were about to eat and jocks flooded Joshua, Gevia did notice their faces. When Gevia remembered their faces, Gevia's face scowled. "Ugh, they're not at all handsome." If you ask me, Alex is more handsome and she's not even a guy. Gevia thought to herself, unconsciously complimenting Alex. Joshua giggled, somehow feeling light. He looked over his shoulder and saw a scowling Gevia. "Really? You're the first one that I've heard say that." Gevia shrugged, not really caring. The hallways were packed with students, talking about the sports event and what games they were going to watch. Certain names were brought up, but didn't ring any bell to Gevia. Gevia didn't care that much about sports, though she knew a bit. It was a requirement. It was getting harder to breathe for Gevia. She wasn't used to cramped places. "Are you okay?" Joshua noticed the sudden change in Gevia's breathing. Joshua looked around, not really sure of what he was looking for. Gevia turned pale. The usual pink tint on her cheeks and the redness of her lips turned almost white. She looked as if she had no color left on her face. "Can we.. go somewhere else?" Gevia asked, out of breath. "Of course, of course." Joshua guided the now dizzy Gevia. Gevia couldn't look ahead. Her head was spinning due to the shortness of breath. She held on to Joshua for dear life. Joshua led Gevia to the fields where it was peaceful. There were only three students in sight aside from Gevia and Joshua. Joshua slowly let Gevia sit down on the grass and rubbed Gevia's back. "How's that?" The clearance helped Gevia's breathing. The fresh air was welcomed into Gevia's lungs. She inhaled and exhaled deeply and slowly. She was calming down. Her heart rate was also going back to normal. Joshua kept on rubbing Gevia's back with a worried expression. "Well, that was a first," Gevia joked, trying to make light of the situation. "Don't scare me like that." Joshua scolded. "Sorry. But that really was a first for me. Thanks," Gevia smiled at Joshua and Joshua just sighed. He stopped rubbing Gevia's back, seeing that Gevia was returning to normal. Joshua sat down next to Gevia and looked over at the fields. There were no people playing, no people practicing and there were no cheerers. "Do you have claustrophobia?" Joshua asked. "I don't know. I've never been to crowded spaces before." "So that really was a first?" "Mhm," Gevia answered honestly. "I should be very careful around you. If I didn't react fast, you would've fainted and your Dad would've killed me already." Gevia giggled. Gevia doubted Dave would do that to the only friend Gevia had made since entering the world. Dave knows how much Gevia treasures Joshua. Dave wouldn't do anything to Joshua. "You don't need to worry about that. Daddy likes you." Joshua's head swiftly turned to Gevia with a shocked expression. "You mean, your Dad knows about me?" Gevia nodded. "Of course. He was really happy that I had made a friend. You're my very first friend." Joshua grinned, happy to hear those words from Gevia but also sad at the same time. She hadn't made a friend before me? They're missing out. Joshua thought to himself. "You're just making me smile." "I am not." Gevia laughed. Alex, on the other hand, was on the other side of the school, reading a book. Peacefully minding their own business when a fellow student approaches them. Alex's nostrils were hurting. The student's perfume was so strong that it made Alex cough. It was as if the student bathed in perfume for it to be strong. "Uhm, hi, Alex." the student shyly approaches Alex. Alex looked up. It wasn't a classmate of Alex's nor someone they knew. She was a foreign girl to Alex. The girl had a nice figure. A big bosom and had looks, but Alex wasn't baited. Pfft, she doesn't hold a candle to my Gevia. Alex looks down on her book again, about to ignore the girl. "Alex, can we talk?" the girl asked. "Aren't you already talking?" Alex retorted with sarcasm. They hated the fact that someone was disrupting their time alone. Only Gevia had that power to disturb Alex's time alone without Alex getting angry. "Uhm, I'm sorry. Are you busy?" Alex sighed. They closed their book and stood up, about to leave, when the girl grabbed Alex's arm to prevent Alex from leaving. "Alex, please, talk to-" Alex turned around and glared at the girl. The girl flinched and backed away. The girl's first instinct was to back away and run away as far as possible. Alex's cold glare sent shivers down the girl's spine. She regretted the decision. She thought she could tame Alex. That was what she was used to back at her old school. When she transferred, she'd hear of this particular person who dislikes getting touched. The girl knew that she was beautiful. She wanted to see if this person could actually resist the girl's charms. She was so sure that Alex would cave in to her temptations. She was so sure that she could tame Alex. The school's most popular student alongside Gevia. She was so sure that if she could turn Alex to her side, she would rule school. A lot would bow down to her. But she was wrong. She wasn't taming someone else. She was taming someone who was already tamed by someone who didn't do anything. The girl's head was filled with power. The will to control the school, and even become someone influential. Her head was in the clouds just thinking about the power that she could have gained. But she made a wrong move. Alex's cold glare continued while the girl continued to back away. Alex's aura was prominent. The girl couldn't believe that someone really did resist her. The reason why she transferred schools was that she had already used everyone in her school and made rules according to her will. Her old school, to her, was 'boring'. She wanted new toys. "I'm sorry," she kept on repeating as she backed away from Alex. "Don't you ever f*****g touch me again." Alex coldly spat, looking so intimidating. "I-" the girl ran away out of fear. When the girl ran away, Alex grunted and looked at their arm as if germs were already circulating around the part that was touched, multiplying every second that passes. Alex gritted their teeth and ran to the nearest rest room. Alex scrubbed the part harshly with soap, seeing their own arm as something contaminated with a disease. Some students that came in to use the rest room saw Alex hastily and harshly scrubbing their arm. They knew what was up. Someone had touched Alex. No one had ever touched Alex and they were angry. The students, after doing their business in the rest room, immediately gathered Alex's fangirls and quickly relayed the message. The school was about to get messy. The girls were planning things. "We need to know who it was first, otherwise all of our plans will go to waste," a member angrily hissed. They all harbored hatred of that girl who touched their precious Alex. They were even cautious not to touch Alex, but someone unwittingly did that. "I think I know who." "Who?" "That girl who just transferred in. She doesn't know the rules around here." "We can't just assume. We're about to ruin someone's life." "I heard that she left her old school because it was already boring." "I heard this too. She ruled that school." "That b***h thinks she can use our Alex to rise to the top?" "Who does that b***h she is?"
