Gevia's P.O.V
Alex's eyes were provoking me, pushing me to the brink of frustration. The obvious smirk playing on their lips was enough to make me shiver. I was still standing in the corner, with no room to run. What was even scarier was the fact that I didn't want to run away. I wanted to see for myself to what extent Alex was going to drive me crazy.
My breathless body ached for a more pitiful state. I wanted Alex to dominate me even more, to the point that I was going to cry. But, of course, I didn't tell Alex that. I kept my mouth shut, not wanting to ruin the surprise.
"You look exceptionally gorgeous tonight." I would've been flattered by the compliment, but Alex's tone was giving me a different kind of vibe. It made my entire body quiver in anticipation.
Alex reached out their hand, pulled me by the waist before pushing me to the wall again. Air was again knocked out of my lungs. I silently gulped, almost losing my mind.
"Shut up," I wittingly said.
The devilish grin on Alex's face made me realize that I was in deep, deep trouble. There was nothing else that could be done. I was digging my own pleasurable grave. I wouldn't want it any other way. I gritted my teeth, bracing for the punishment that was about to come my way.
"Tonight will be your punishment," Alex said sweetly into my ear. I had to close my eyes to heighten the sensation that I had just felt, before I lost it.
Alex backed away and left me there. There it was again. Their signature move left me dumbfounded. My frustration was at its peak. I felt like I was the one chasing after the s*x. I felt pathetic, but this was what I had actually wanted in mind. Alex was fulfilling my s****l needs.
I looked at myself in the mirror, fixing myself and taking in deep breaths to calm my body and heart down. I went back to our table and saw that Alex was sitting on Daddy's seat while Daddy and Alejandro were talking. I had to act like I didn't like what was happening. I needed to put on a show. I cleared my throat, readying myself.
"Why am I sitting with this?" I had to use 'this' to accent the degradation that I was going with. I don't quite remember how I used to communicate with Alex, but just to be sure, I wanted to go for the kill. Alex's right eyebrow was raised, but with an amused smile on the side of their lip- only one side.
"Honey, Alejandro and I are going to talk for a bit over dinner, then we'll excuse ourselves in a bit." I sat down with poise, not wanting to ruin my image. I wanted to look good for Alex, to impress the ever-so-perfect Alex.
"What? But who am I going to ride home with? I don't want to ride a taxi." Daddy giggled.
"Alex will give you a ride home." Alejandro said out of the blue.
This time, it was my turn to raise an eyebrow. I wasn't so sure about what Alejandro meant. Was this a test? I didn't break eye contact, in hopes that Alejandro was going to say, 'alright, that was just a test', but nothing came. No word came out of Alejandro's crooked mouth. I looked at Alex and then at Alejandro.
"I'm serious," Alejandro said.
I didn't reply. Like Daddy said, they were talking while Alex and I were awkwardly trying to ignore each other's presence, but Alex gave up first. Their hand was on my thigh, massaging my thigh gently. I choked out a cough, making Daddy and Alejandro turn to me.
"Are you alright, darling?" daddy asked, worry written all over his face. I immediately shook my head with a sheepish smile.
"Oh, I just needed water." I grabbed the glass and drank a bit to follow through my lie.
"You alright now?" he asked again. I nodded with a full smile.
"Alright. Tell me if you feel ill." I nodded.
Daddy and Alejandro continued talking. I didn't want to make everything about me and Alex just s****l things. I grabbed Alex's hand that was on my thigh and intertwined it with mine. I felt Alex tense up, looking away. I didn't want to turn, that would make me so obvious.
Alex tightened our hands together. I could feel the sense of security through our intertwined fingers. Alex's hand felt warm. I felt fuzzy inside. A little jiggly and wiggly. I have this accumulated scream inside me that I want to let out, but I can't. We stayed like that until our food came.
Alex and I ate in silence. The ambiance suddenly feels so romantic that my heart couldn't help but almost leap out of my chest. I couldn't eat properly. I was too busy with the thoughts in my head.
"We'll get going now, darling." Daddy said, kissing my forehead. I had to let go of Alex's hand immediately, in order to avoid getting caught.
"Already?" I asked, not wanting to see him alone with Alejandro.
"I'll see you in the morning, Gevia." he gave me a reassuring smile before turning to Alex, who was silently eating.
"You drive safe, alright? I don't want anything to happen to my baby." I giggled, shoving Daddy away softly.
"I'm no longer a baby, daddy."
"You're still my baby."
"I'll drive her home safely, Sir." Alex said, oozing with confidence.
"Don't fail me now." Alejandro said.
Can he just shut up when there's a moment that's happening? I wanted to sew his lips so he couldn't talk anymore. He always dampens the mood with whatever he has to say. He just had to open his dirty mouth. Just because he was attractive doens't mean he has the right to sully the mood. Gosh. He's so entitled.
"Yeah," Alex timidly answered.
Daddy gave me one last kiss on the forehead before they headed out. Alex waited until Alejandro and Daddy were out of sight before grabbing my chin and kissing me full on the lips. It was a soft chaste kiss. I could feel the butterflies swarm inside my stomach. We didn't care about the world. All I knew was that my heart was beating loudly because of Alex. The kiss felt magical.
"I-" Alex stuttered. Was it me or were their eyes even more mesmerizing? It sparkled the night's promises, caressing me with a sense of home.
Somehow, words weren't what I needed or what I could give. Everything felt as if it was meant to be. My hand went to Alex's cheek and kissed Alex back. The same kiss that Alex gave me. I knew for a fact that what Alex was making me feel was what I was also making Alex feel.
"There's no need for words." I told Alex, as softly as I could. I don't know. I guess I wanted to accentuate the part that I don't need any kind of confirmation or just any word at all.
I want Alex to go do what they needed to do before we get started with what we were having at the moment. At least both of us know that we liked each other. Alex gave me a content smile and nodded their head.
"Now, let's finish eating so you can take me home."
After we ate, Alex drove me home. Our hands were intertwined again, as if it was the normal thing to do. Neither of us wanted to let go. When Alex and I finally arrived in front of my house, Alex sighed deeply.
"What's wrong?"
"I'll miss you." I pushed Alex's face away.
That was too much affection. Too much for a single night. I couldn''t shield my heart anymore. Alex grabbed my hand and kissed it. I bit my lip, feeling my cheeks flush. Silence befell on us, but it wasn't the kind that was awkward. It sat right with us. Silence made the atmosphere even more romantic.
"I never thought I'd be like this with you." Alex confessed.
The starry night was above us, twinkling with all its glory. The stars looked magnificent. Touching my heart, the moon glowed like there was no tomorrow. I felt the serenity that the evening brought. It gave me peace. With my hand being held and kissed by Alex, I felt loved. A new, unfamiliar emotion, but it was a beautiful thing to experience.
"Me too. I used to look at you, full of mischief." Alex chortled adorably, making me fall even deeper. What was this person doing to me? I could barely handle their words being spoken to me, and now they were being adorable. Too adorable, for that matter.
"I could tell. And there I was, still planning on how to make you fall for me." being verbal about things like these was certainly weird for me.
I cleared my throat, backing out.
"Alex," I wanted to be serious. I wanted to actually tell Alex what I should've said earlier. The one after they kissed me. I want to be vocal about it. For Alex to stop assuming things, I want to voice this out.
"Hmm?" they hummed as a response.
"I got the gist of what's happening," I paused, waiting for a reaction, but there came none. I took that as a sign to continue with what I was going to say.
"I can wait for you." the eyes that Alex was giving me right now were full of affection and adoration. Alex looked like a puppy as of the moment.
"You go do whatever you need to do, okay? I'll be here rooting for you." Alex smiled and nodded, kissing my hand again.
I smiled at Alex as well.
"But do remember that if ever everything is too much, or if you're overwhelmed, remember that I'm here for you always, okay?" Alex stopped responding and froze.
It was obvious that Alex didn't receive that many words such as the one that I had just said. What a lonely life Alex must have been living. I caressed Alex's cheek with my free hand, neatly combing Alex's hair to the side.
"You can always lean on me. Whether you need a bear, or a bear fighter."
"A bear?" Alex choked out, suppressing their tears.
I giggled.
"Uh-huh," Alex's head tilted to the side.
"What does a bear mean? And bear fighter? What's the difference?" I poked Alex's nose.
"Silly you. A bear hug, and a bear hug that can fight for you. Your ally in battle and your home."
Alex pulled me by the hand and gave me a hug. I could feel how appreciative Alex was. I returned the hug and kissed Alex's cheek. I giggled before pushing Alex away. The motherfucker was pouting when our hug broke.
"You can be so cliche sometimes." Alex commented, getting back at me for breaking our hug.
"Do you not like it?" Alex looked away, hiding their blushing face.
"I like it," it was so soft that I barely heard it.
"What was that? I couldn't hear you over the thundering pumps of your heart." Alex cleared their throat and looked at me.
"I like you."
I blinked a couple of times. I had to reboot my system in order to process what Alex just said. I swear I went deaf for a second. Those were words that I didn't know I needed to hear until I actually heard them.
"Sorry, what was that?" Alex looked me in the eyes, straightened up and suddenly turned serious.
"Gevia, I like you so much. I won't make you wait for long." I pursed my lips and nodded my head.
It was the actual confession. I was hyperventilating inside. I was having internal turmoil. Was I breathing? f**k, I think I'm broken. Am I still intact? I guess I am. I'm still present in the moment.
"A'ight, you do you."
I left, cursing at myself. That was stupid of me. To reply with that kind of reply.
"Stupid, Gevia."
I wanted to say more, but I couldn't. My body and mouth weren't cooperating with me. f**k it.
