Gevia's P.O.V Aeron drove me home, saying that she was going to fetch me before dinner time. "Don't forget to wear your smile later," was the last thing that she said before she drove away. Did she mean something else when she said that? I was confused, but I let it be. I was too deep in my thoughts to care about what that meant. I went back to my room and had my makeup artist ready. I had one other maid to get my dress ready. I wasn't in a hurry, so I wasn't rushing my makeup artist. I grabbed my phone while the makeup artist did her thing. I scrolled and scrolled through my phone, seeing Alex's face over and over again. Then that video came on, about Alex scrubbing their hand harshly when they get touched by that girl. Then there's me, who was freely touching Alex. Alex was so complacent about touching me and I did the same. I was confusing myself. If Alex didn't care about me, then they wouldn't be fine me touching them. "Miss, we're done." I looked at myself in the mirror and was impressed. I forgot to tell them that they needed to go for a specific kind of look because of my dress, but I guess that's a basic thing for makeup artists to know. The makeup looked really good with the dress. I could already envision my appearance, slaying those that looked half-done. "Alright, you're excused. You help me put this on." "Yes, Young Miss." The makeup artist went ahead and left me and the maid. While she was helping me put on the dress, I couldn't help but admire myself in the mirror. The dress fit me perfectly. "You look really beautiful, Young Miss." I smirked. "Thank you." I grabbed my purse and did my hair by myself. My hair was in good shape today. It was full and healthy. I let it down just like that, allowing it to hug the ambiance with a bit of confidence. "You're excused." It was getting dark already, but Aeron- then I heard a familiar honk. I giggled and walked down. The cold air hit my face like the hard truth of what I had just heard earlier. I walked to where the car was and saw Aeron wearing a beautiful suit. She looked so clean and so handsome. It definitely brought out masculinity more. Her bubbly self was now tucked under all that handsomeness. "Wow, look at you. So handsome." I complimented Aeron's look. She adjusted her suit like she was so proud of it, posing at the side. "Thanks. I wanted to impress you." "Pfft, you should take notes on how to compliment a woman." her face fell into despair and she opened the car door for me without batting an eyelash. I giggled and got in the car. I looked at Aeron as she got in the car. When she noticed that my stare wasn't going away, she turned to me as if she had just done something wrong. Slow-motion. "Wh-what?" she asked, stuttering in obvious nervousness. "Where's my compliment then?" "You're very, very beautiful, Gevia Jones." "I-" She really didn't have to say my whole name like that. It bothered me, but in a good way. She used my whole name like that and with such ease. It made me think that she really meant it. The seriousness that it made me feel gave me butterflies inside my stomach. Or was it because of the dress? Was it showing too much skin? "What? Cat got your tongue?" Aeron teased. She was oozing with confidence to make up for earlier. "Oh, shut up." It was a silent drive to the restaurant. When we were there, all eyes were on us. Eyes that would boost my self-esteem. Aeron's hand silently snaked its way to my waist. My bare waist. The dress was open in the front and on the sides, strapping my breasts in a sense that hugged my full breasts. "You're attracting attention. Gosh, my date is such a hot shot." I smiled. "Aren't you the same? With someone as handsome as you, I doubt they're only looking at me." We went inside the restaurant. Aeron handled the receptionist really well, even though the receptionist was all over her. Aeron's bubbly persona disappeared. She was cool and very collected at the moment. As if she was someone else. Or someone else has taken over her completely. "This way please," at least someone was sane enough to guide us to our table without panicking and drooling. When we were at our table, Aeron was being such a gentlewoman again. She pulled on my seat so I could sit first before she sat in front of me. I guess Aeron has already picked out what our food would be for tonight. "This restaurant is famous for its nine o'clock dance." "Dance?" "Yes, and we're going to dance." The restaurant was nice. You could say that the restaurant's owner was clearly a chef. They knew exactly what they were doing. There was a theme, and if I could guess correctly, it was French fine dining. It screamed French to me, as well as the music. A little romantic on the side with dimmed lights, and a candle. "Are we?" "Of course we are. Don't do me like that, Gevia." I laughed. She wanted to dance, and I didn't want to be a party pooper. "Chill, Daddy, I'm going to dance with you." I whispered in a naughty voice. This was the right time to tease her. She choked on her own air. Gasping as she dabbed on her chest. I tucked a hair behind my ear to add to the effect even more. "You're messing with fire." she warned me with a low voice. Yep, there it was again. I crossed my legs, wanting to see more of that strong font. She could rock both cute and cool looks. She can have my heart if she wants. Jokes aside, I think I caught a whiff of a familiar scent. I looked around, searching for that familiar scent, but it wasn't there. Maybe someone else wore the same perfume. I shook my head mentally. I'm out here having dinner with Alex's twin while thinking of Alex. That's kind of messed up if you ask me. "I am? Ooh, do tell." I leaned over the table, letting my breasts rest there. It was as if a weight had been lifted when I did that. Aeron's eyes went from my lips to my breasts really quickly. She caught herself before her eyes could linger even longer. A devilish grin appeared on my lips. This was going to be a fun night. Aeron tried her hardest to avoid my very body, but still talking to me. When our food came, I took that as a chance to tease her again. "Daddy, could you pass me a napkin?" she bit her lower lip and handed me a napkin. I made sure to graze our fingers before getting my hands on the napkin. She immediately retracted her hand. She looked away and gulped her food down. Once we were done with the food and had a little wine in our systems, our inner demonic selves came out. Teasing each other. "You've been driving me inside, Gevia," Aeron stated blatantly. "How can I not?" "Pfft, and you know just how much you're affecting me." "You're really an open book, if no one told you that." I was shooting down every possible thing that she could say to me. "And you're really hard to woo." I shrugged. There it was again. That familiar scent. I looked around, but still couldn't find the person that was wearing it. "What are you searching for?" I shook my head, feeling bad for even getting distracted. "Oh, no. It's nothing." Then a soft bell rang and different music came on. The look on Aeron's face when the music started told me that it was that thing that happens at nine. "Let's go," she happily extended her hand so I could take it. We went to the space at the center of the restaurant and joined the others. They were dancing beautifully, but I wasn't about to let strangers outdo me when I took dancing classes. All of those would be for nought. But I couldn't help but feel eyes on my back. As I embraced Aeron's body while we danced, the stare intensified. The burning in my chest started to ignite by itself. One turn and I saw a familiar head. That handsome hair. Another turn. That familiar body and stand. Another turn. I caught a sniff of that perfume again and this time, it came from where I saw that silhouette. My heart began thumping fast as my mind raced to thoughts. Every step on that bass drum feels like my chest popping out of my chest. "Gevia," Aeron called out to me. "Yeah?" I heard the smile on Aeron's voice. "Smile," Aeron turned and dragged me along with her turn. When I turned, it was as if my world shattered in front of me.The look of defeat on Alex's face was enough for me to stop moving. Alex walked away while looking down. "Thank you for the lovely dinner."
