School Ruckus (2)

1714 Words
Gevia's P.O.V After we ate, the captain said that he would wash the dishes. I was surprised that he knew how to wash the dishes when he wasn't doing chores. Does he even know how to wash the dishes? He was so happy about it that he even cleaned the table with a smile on his face. It was a surprise, even for me, who is adept at adjusting. The whole time he was cleaning the table while we were still sitting, I stared at him. I looked at Alex and Joshua, who weren't surprised, not even one bit. I was the one left behind again. Like it was something so obvious. Did this happen before? Since it was a 2v1 situation, I remained silent and never opened up. My curiosity was definitely piqued. "The school is talking about it right now." Alex said, looking at their phone. Scrolling down. I watched Alex's finger scroll through their phone, but I immediately looked away before my hormones could react and before my mind could start to imagine unnecessary things. "What are they saying?" Alex turned off their phone and sighed with a perplexed look. "They're covering it up with 'pranks'." Truth be told, that could actually happen. All of us were so carefree and limitless that even gun fights aren't a show anymore. Even the media would be able to believe it if a student decided to prank the school with explosives. Yes, the students are that dramatic. "Bullshit. That's too much." Joshua cusses with an angry expression. "No, it's not. The entire school is just that crazy," the captain said while washing the dishes. Silence overcame our conversation. The sound of running water and the clanking of utensils could be heard in the background. There was a shooting in school- wait. "Was there someone harmed?" I asked Alex. "Apparently none." "Isn't that weird?" "How so?" Joshua asked. "They can't just aimlessly attack the school." "What are you saying?" the captain asked. "I don't know what I'm going for, unless that attack was just a diversion of something better or if it's purpose was just to scare us." Alex hummed. "Why would they scare us? What could they possibly gain by doing that? Senseless creatures they are, if that's the reason." Alex crossed their arms across their chest. Alex had a serious face on, and my, oh my, Alex looked really handsome. That fierce look could definitely win an award. I could stare at Alex all day with that fierce expression. The way their eyes were looking straight, focused and the firm body language. Alex screamed 'serious'. Joshua cleared his throat and that made me look at him. Crap. I forgot about him. He looked at me with his eyebrows raised and with an instigating smirk on his lips. I shifted uncomfortably, and cleared my throat. I wanted to screw myself for being so obvious. I'll scold myself in private later. "There could be a number of reasons, Alex. Absurdity comes near our school. You know that." the captain calmly told Alex, not sounding a bit bothered by what had just happened in school. "f*****g idiots." I could tell that Alex hated people with no common sense. It was, at all, obvious. If Alex wanted to portray their dislike of something and if it was only one, that would be the lack of common sense. "We have no solid evidence, and I doubt we'd be able to find things before the principal does." I shook my head. All ends lead to nothing with this. "That's true. It would even be harder to find traces if it's from a family that's too influential. Everything would be erased the moment it happened." the captain agreed with my idea. I agreed with him as well. It wasn't far off from reality, since the students are rich. "But isn't it worth a shot?" Joshua asked. Our heads turned to Joshua. "You're all about what ifs, and speculations, and logic and theories. But in the end, aren't they all just your opinions? Like you guys said, there's no solid evidence." "You do realize that if we try to find out on our own, and find nothing, that would be wasting our time, right?" Alex asked. Joshua shrugged. "Don't tell me you're just going to sit here and waste time still doing nothing? Let those slow-ass police do their sloppy jobs?" Joshua was making a point that I could not deny. I saw the smile on the captain's face before he turned back to his dishes. "I can't believe you're making a point." Alex laughed, teasing Joshua. "b***h, I may not be as smart as you, but I at least know limitless possibilities without taking into account your f*****g what ifs." Joshua sneered at Alex. "Shut up, Alex. Everyone's not as gifted as you and Gevia." That still touched a sore spot. I'm not as gifted as Alex either, captain. This motherfucker is on a whole new level. I could never compare against Alex without all the hard work that I've put in. But I'm not holding it against Alex. This is just something that I need to overcome on my own without stomping on someone else. Or blaming someone. Daddy didn't raise me like that. "Oh, you shut up. I know you're done washing the dishes. Aren't you wasting water now?" Joshua gasped. "You what!" the captain hurriedly turned off the water and giggled nervously. "What? I was making sure it was rinsed properly." Joshua stood up and pushed the captain away. Joshua had to take the matter into his own hands. He swiftly, and with great accuracy, cleaned the sink. The captain looked at Joshua with those puppy-like eyes. It was adorable. It was my first time witnessing one. Boys love. Was that what it was called? It was adorable. But I suddenly felt like someone was staring at me. I looked over at Alex and saw that they were looking at me. I gave Alex a scowl, since I was still pissed at Alex. "What?" Alex mouthed, but I just rolled my eyes at Alex and proceeded to stare at the loving captain and the subject of this love. I felt a soft kick on my leg and whipped my head at Alex. "What do you want?" I mouthed angrily. "What the hell did I do?" Alex mouthed back. I stood up, not able to hold my emotions back. I know that if I looked at Alex, I'd just melt and be all over her again. "I'll be in the living room if you need me." I told no one in particular, just to let everyone know. "Alright!" Joshua answered enthusiastically while still cleaning the sink. I went to the living room in order to avoid Alex, but the motherfucker decided to follow me to the living room. I glared at Alex. I didn't bother hiding the fact that I didn't want to see their handsome face. I sat down, hoping that Alex wouldn't bother me anymore. But hell was wrong. Alex stood in front of me, towering over me. I ignored Alex, hoping that they would leave me alone. Like, for real this time. I scrolled and scrolled. Jumped from one app to another, but Alex wasn't budging. "What the f**k do you want from me?" I asked angrily, raising my tone a bit. I raised my phone to emphasize that I was busy and I didn't want to talk to them. "What's with the attitude?" I raised an eyebrow. "The f**k? Get the hell away from me." I pushed Alex away from me, but Alex took that as a chance to grab my wrist. Alex pulled my hand and raised it above my head, locking it there. My other hand was holding my phone so I couldn't really do anything. The sofa was full of our things, hence why I couldn't put down my phone. I stared into Alex's orbs, and I couldn't dare look away. They were captivating. I swear to God, this person's ability lures people in. "That mouth of yours needs some cleansing." I smirked. "Oh, yeah? Are you going to kiss me?" Alex smirked, but a larger one. "I'm not that easy." Alex inched their face closer to mine, and before I knew it, Alex was already biting my lip. Their eyes were still half-open, watching my reaction as I succumbed to their kiss. My body wasn't responding to my objection. I think my body even craved for more. My back arched as Alex pushed a bit further until my back hit the sofa. I breathed into the kiss, gasping for air. Alex didn't want to let go of my lips. "They're here," I tried to say it clearly, but Alex wasn't having it. Alex broke the kiss but left butterfly kisses on my cheek before going for my ears. I shivered. Alex's hot breath on my ear felt very sensual. It activated the sleeping dragon inside of me. And not the dicky kind of thing. "I don't care, Princess." Alex whispered in the most condescending and threatening way possible. Funny enough, it turned me on. I bit my lips to stop myself from moaning. Who knew that you could moan just from hearing a voice? "Well, you should- mhm," Alex nibbled on my earlobe, sending electricity through my body. I gritted my teeth, suppressing my lust. "You like that, huh?" Alex teased. "Stoop," I tried to be as firm as I could, but it was of no use. I wanted more. "Why? I bet they know already." Well, that explains why Joshua knew of what you said to me before the pageant. "Did you tell Joshua anything?" "Of course not. I thought we had a silent agreement that we weren't going to tell anyone?" "I- wait, what?" Don't tell me I kind of told Joshua everything without actually telling him everything?! I wanted to slap myself right then and there for being so stupid. When Alex saw my reaction, they laughed hard, resulting in Alex letting go of my wrist. I blushed, feeling embarrassed. I looked away. "Oh, shut up." Alex continued, laughing melodically. "So, basically, you kind of just did that on your own." I'm so f*****g stupid sometimes.
