CHAPTER EIGHTY TWO MASON Isobel walked beside me in silence, she had her arms wrapped tightly around her body as if that could shield her from her own thoughts and fear. The night air was cool, but I could still feel the warmth of her body from earlier, and the way her body melted against me when I kissed her. It should have been enough to keep me satisfied, but the panic in her eyes after we were caught by the pack members still remained in my mind. She was scared and I hated seeing her like that.
