The next day, Joey’s friend, Janice, the reporter, came by to discuss how the opening was going to be covered. She took pictures of the gym, inside and out. She said she wanted to get a feel for the place before it was filled with people.
Joey showed her around and took her around town to let her get some pictures of the town to include in the story.
She saw Carlos going next door to see Katie and wanted to see Coffee and Sweets.
Katie and Carlos had gone upstairs for a few moments alone, but she talked to Star and Bambi. After drinking coffee and sampling an apple fritter, she snapped some pictures of them behind the counter of Coffee and Sweets.
