CHAPTER 2
Carlos and his friends, followed Marian into her office. She brought out the paperwork for the building they were interested in. She handed it over to the guys and they sat back and read through it. When they finished reading, Carlos looked at his friends. They both nodded their okay.
“We want the building, but there will have to be a lot of work done on it. Is the price negotiable?” he asked.
“Yes, it is,” agreed Marian. “You can make an offer and we can submit it for approval. The owners of this property are anxious to sell. They have had it on the market for a long time. I think if you offer them this amount, they will accept it.” Marian wrote an amount on paper and passed it to Carlos. Carlos looked at it and showed it to his friends. They both grinned and nodded.
