CHAPTER 5
“Hello, can I help you,” asked Bambi of the solemn looking guy, who had just entered their shop and was standing looking around.
“Yes, I’m Manuel McCray. I am looking for my sister Katie,” he replied.
Just then, Katie came through the door into the front room. She looked up and saw her brother. With a big grin on her face, she hurried toward him.
“Manny, it is so good to see you,” she said. hugging him. She leaned back and looked up at him.
“I’m so glad you came by,” she said.
Manny grinned at her. “I had to come by and see what my little sister was up to.”
“Not so little anymore,” replied Katie. “Come on, I’ll show you around.” Katie turned and, pulling Manny by the hand, started showing him her vision of what she hoped to accomplish.
Manny went along and listened intent
