It was over! Anna had been counting the days, hours, and then minutes until she could leave this ghastly place for so long, she could hardly believe the time had finally arrived. She folded the last of her personal clothing items into her suitcase and shut the lid. The nurse’s uniform would have to stay, but she didn’t mind. The fewer reminders of her time here, the happier she would be.
