She came over and gave Lanie a hug. “The new foal is precious. I could just stare at her for ages. She is so delicate but strong at the same time. You need to go down and see her when you are through cleaning.” “Maybe I will,” said Lanie. She heard a ping and went to unload the dryer and put a new load in to dry. She folded the sheets and put them in the hall linen closet. While she was waiting for the last load to dry, Lanie went and looked around to see what she could prepare to eat.
