The next morning, Chris was very excited about the new foal. Marcel took him to the barn so he could see the foal before leaving for school. He could hardly wait for the bus so he could tell Joey all about her.
Lanie laughed as she watched Chris hurry to the bus, and she saw him start talking before he even sat down.
