When Sally came out in her new dress, Lanie looked at her and smiled. Marcel whistled, and Chris looked up in surprise to see what the fuss was about.
“You look great, Sally,” said Lanie.
“Thanks,” said Sally, flushing slightly. “You don’t think I’m making too much fuss for bingo, do you?”
“I think you will make just the right impression. You want to look your best so you will feel confident enough to relax and have a good time,” said Lanie.
“You don’t have anything to worry about, Sally. Milo will take care of you. My mom will be there, and Dad might go if Mom can talk him into it. They will make sure you make a lot of new friends. We all want you to be happy here,” said Marcel.
