CHAPTER 15
It was about an hour later when everyone started arriving. Daisy and Glen came first with Glenda, Leon, and their baby. They were followed by Dawn, Hank, and their children. Logan, Willow, and their children were next. Mark and Doris came with Sarah and Orin. Mark had invited Gunner and Brenda to join them. Jamie and Silas had called for May and April to come over to join the group. Sally, Milo, and Stanley also joined the group. All of the women had brought food.
“We couldn’t let the occasion go by without celebrating,” said Daisy. “Even if you are going to have another wedding, our family just received two new members, and they have to be welcomed.”
“Thank you,” said Lanie. “Chris and I are honored to be a part of this wonderful family.”
