The hall descended into silence immediately I walked in, led by Lily, they had intended to thoroughly surprise me with the decorations and plannings. Not even Eros let me have a sneak peak of what they were up to.
My jaw almost dropped at the view, they had really outdone themselves, chandeliers hung low, its light scattering across the hall showing off intricate carvings I had never noticed, carvings that felt ancient, familiar too. I’ll ask Lilith about them later, she's the one well versed in such knowledge.
The walls were dressed elegantly, with ornaments adorning them, the windows draped with heavy velvet curtains, chairs set up in different round tables, a red carpet on the floor that seemingly led further into the hall.
