l finished my shift and was heading outside to meet Damien when l was suddenly approach by Trevor. He had his usual arrogance. " where do you think you are going nurse Carter" he asked and intentionally used the first name meanwhile he knew that wasn't my real first name. " l am finished with my shift and l was just heading home when you approach me " l spoke in a calm voice trying as much as possible to hide my irritation. " Change of plans you are coming with me" he ordered me like l was his personal servant. " l would love to go with you but unfortunately, l have someone to meet" l inclined again. " who is that someone so special that will you disobey me ,Mind you this meeting is about your real parents " he said to me. l immediately became more focused than earlier. " l see now you are serious " he spoke in a mocking tone. " follow me " he ordered and walk and Headed to the hospital exit. l followed him reluctantly grinding my teeth to hold up my anger to punch him in face and blood would ooze from his mouth and nose. I breathe in and out to control the wicked thought. I followed him to him to the parking lot where his car was packed and surprisely saw who l did not want him right now with this monster. As l entered the car with the monster Damian look hurt and sad. l thought l told him to wait for me at the hospital entrance but l then thought that he must have come here to also get his car. The pain in his eyes was hard to ignore l felt a pang of guilt run over me . The monster intentionally stired at the misunderstanding a little more by saying to Damian " Hello Dr. black l did not expect to see you here, l was just on my way with nurse Carter somewhere" he used that first name l awfully hated. Damien with a hurt tone" oh sorry for bothering you to l was just on my way out" with that he drove of his car without waiting for any response from any of us. I guess the monster looked please with what he just did and said in a low voice which l heard " good that you know your place". He drove me to a restaurant and ordered all our food. When the waiter brought the food l lot my appetite because of what happened earlier. He saw me not eating and said "l didn't bring you hear just to stare at me and not eat your food" . " l am not really hungry " l declined him politely. He look at me for a while and kept his fork down." if you do not cooperate with me, a single word about your parents would not come out of my mouth " he said in a threatening voice. l became alert at that moment what if he does not tell me anything about my biological parents l became scared at that instant. He smirk obviously looked satisfied with the way l reacted to that info . l reluctantly pick up my fork and pick up a salad and chewed slowly. He smiled and also pick up his fork and continue to eat. " your family" he said. I immediately responded with a yes and look at me and closed his mouth. l scolded myself for the way l acted. " The are wealthy and own lot of companies" he said again. l was atonished with this information my family was actually wealthy and own many companies while l suffered with those wicked parents just to pay my tuition l had to work overtime to attend university four jobs just to get money for education. We continued to eat our food in silence which l preferred because l didn't want to have any conversations with this monster. After we finished with our meal he drove me home near the warehouse near our house. I got out and went away. l got home only to be greeted with another set of witches Catherine and her mother. " mom l swear l saw her with a man near the warehouse near our house" Catherine said. " you child of disgrace l dare you see people behind our back without our consent" mom asked me. l was speechless at that moment this witch have somehow seen me with that monster which l was desperately trying to hide him from any contact with them. " so now you have now Stared opening your legs to men for money" Mom accused me. And Catherine added more to the misunderstanding " mom l pretty sure l saw her with an old man" Catherine added. l was confused by the accusations and did not have time to process it when a hard hit was Landed on my cheek. Mom slapped me poisened my her daughter. I hold my cheek feeling the pain and trying to fight back tears. l run outside the house and called my Bestfriend Anna to come get me . l was crying with all the misunderstanding l

had today from Damien to my wicked mother. l sat on a bench with a stranger " life can be tough but don't let it get to you no matter what situation you are going through always be strong and face" advice the stranger and she handed me a tissue and gave me the warmest smile ever. I dried my tears with the tissue and thank her . Hopefully, Anna arrived in time as the stranger bid farewell and got up to live. l ask for her name and she answered me " Rosemary" l did not have to process it when l realized he was no longer with me . I thought maybe she could be my real mother and l immediately dismissed the thought. l ended crashing at Anna's family house that night.
