Chapter 8: The Date

After l met with my Bestfriend, l felt my energy restored. we also went for shopping for the date. I arrived home feeling with high spirits. I freshen up and do all necessary things girls do when they are going on a date.The dress Anna pick for me was a beautiful red dress so that no one can resist my charm. yes I know seducing Trevor sounds somehow dangerous and risky because he is bad news. But he would not just the beans all about my real family.

l put on a mask, wash my hair, put on makeup and all other necessary things. Finally, l put on my dress finishing at 4: 30 PM. perfect. I look at myself at the mirror and put on red lipstick, tempting.l smile and wink at myself proud of what I have done. I took a picture and sent to my friend l immediately got a reply of an emoji of thumbs up and heart . I texted him to meet a mile away from the house because I didn't want to raise any unnecessary talks among the people in the house. I went out and walk to meet him under a tree he was wearing a black tuxedo with a red shirt he worn underneath. His hair comb backwards. He smiled when he saw me and l also faked a smile back. " you look beautiful" he complemented me . "you are not bad either" l also said. which didnt like a compliment but more like a savage remark.

He chuckled at my response but didn't say anything else and run to open the car door for me . "Thank you" l said to him while entering his car. He was only trying to act like a gentleman but we both know he is not.The drive to the restaurant was akward with silence. Then we finally arrived at a fancy restaurant. we entered and immediately a waiter came to take our order.we were sitted at a corner table, the Waiter came back with our food quickly."so what were you going to tell me" l ask him breaking the awkward silence between us. He look up at me and responded "why are you in such a rush little nurse" with a smug face like he knew everything in the world. I was annoyed but kept my cool l couldn't let me to get to me.

l smiled sweetly and pretend to fixed my hair " oh doctor Trevor you must have forgotten why we are here in the first place " l said still maintaining my fake smile.

He chuckled and stretch out his hands to reach and touch my face. l almost flinch but then sat there. He pinch my cheek." if you keep on pressuring me l may not tell you what you want to know he said.

The smile on my face began to fade at this point l knew my face has already turn to red. But then l didn't say anything , if he wanted to play the hard game then its on .

l reach out and touch his hand " Dr . Trevor Hale you know l wouldn't pressure you" l said and blink my eyelashes. He face showed that he was flattered and he blush. but he quickly shifted into his smug expression as usual. "you know the game you are playing is dangerous little nurse" he said. " what game Dr. Hale " l ask innocently. He smirk and returned to his food again. "Rosemary" he whispered. What? l asked. " your mother name is Rosemary. As a flower and Jesus mother Mary. He explained as if l didn't know. "Rosemary what" l questioned. "That's all you need to know for today". He replied.

"That's it? that is all you called me for? l asked clearly annoyed. " seems like you have forgotten something little nurse, l am not stupid l graduated at the top of my class". He bragged. l couldn't believe this jerk. He called me just to tell me the name of my mother without her first name for recognition. well at least now l new something about my real mother. Maybe l could get more information in future. We finished dinner and he dropped me near my house, l had to take a taxi to reach my home. Tomorrow I may get more information.
