After leaving his office l went on to continue my work.

l arrived home at 6 am in the morning.

Magaret, my supposed mother was coming down stairs when she saw me. Her face showed shock expression to disain, almost mocking. That is the look I always gotten from her since childhood.I also look at her with an expressionless face and walked past her and went up into my room to freshen up.I was still angry with my parents for keeping me in the dark all years, for God sake 24 years was too long. In movies the reveal such truth to children on their eighteenth birthday, but mine was gifted by non celebration and silence in the house as if the mourning someone on my birthday. Thinking of all that I signed and pick up my phone and texted my Bestfriend Anna to meet me at our favorite cafe to have breakfast. It didn't take for her to reply me that we should meet.

I put on an oversized hoodie and pants, grabbing my phone and purse. I headed downstairs and what greeted me was nothing unusual their family was having breakfast with a cheerful atmosphere, but when I walked in the room became silent you could even hear a pin drop.like I was a venomous snake that crawled into the house. Seeing that l muttered"sorry for interrupting" and quickly went out, letting out a sign of relief. They always treated me differently from their real children. l didn't even look like them, thier brown hair and my blonde hair, thier green eyes any my blue eyes. All this years the claim that l inherited from a long term family line and told me that genetics are not always straight and l stupidly believe them. I arrived at the cafe not long it just a mile away from my house to get free from my life. I sat at my favorite table near the corner window thinking when suddenly Anna run to me and enthusiastically and greeted me with a hug. She bombarded with questions at once like how are you? Are you okay? Did something happened at home today? Have the sack you from their house?. I queit her down and her everything that I found out recently through sobs, she comforted me . And I felt the pain in my suddenly disappear. Maybe all this time l needed a shoulder to lean on. Then she spoke " all this time your parents kept such a secret from you? l nodded sadly.she continued"you don't deserve this baby". I also told her about Trevor and the date. she began to badmouth him, I was quite surprised though Trevor was Anna crush. We talked about how l am going to let him spill the beans tonight.
