Fendice’s lids fluttered. His eyes slowly opened, and saw another unfamiliar place the light around the room was faint seeing that there was no opening of windows. Then he realized he was laying on the floor. His back gone stiff from the cold wooden floor, the lower breeze that passed through the small gaps had made his figure seemingly freeze from the autumn weather. It looked like he slept for the whole night in this strange, cold room. But despite the cold weather, Fendice remained still. His eyes stared at the ceiling with an empty look as if he had just come back from a nightmare worth a lifetime. His brain was still throbbing in pain, different images inside his head were flashing vigorously, it played like a film and it was too much to bear that Fendice could only endure silently.
