CHAPTER SIXTEEN Alex stepped into his bedroom and walked straight to the balcony. He turned his back on the pavement below and stared into the room. Art lined the walls in beautiful arrangements. His eyes drifted to the closets—hundreds of clothes he didn't know if he'd ever wear before Thomas decided to replace them. The flower vases. The bed, neatly made with white sheets and tulips scattered across the pillows. Everything screamed perfect. And that was the problem. How could he not be as perfect as his bedroom?
