Daydream on the way to The moon.

The idea of time is non linear in this story. A man and a boy are the main characters. As a boy, the main character has this idea of a man being around. Like all sons, he is trying to earn the respect of this man, but never does does unless the boy does something bad. Is this man to boys father, are the man and boy the same person and different times, or is this a single man growing up dealing with a split personality. A childhood accident will further explain or complicate matters into what is real and what is a dream.
