happy chapter 1 -------------------- "may I know your concerns for this appointment madam?' a girl approached Anastacia. She seemed to be the secretary since she was wearing formal attire and she was carrying some papers of records, Anastacia thought. "I'm here to file a divorce" the secretary wrote something on the paper and later on she asked Anastacia to follow her.. they walked through the end of the hallway until they saw a door. The secretary guided her to the door and told her that the attorney is waiting for her inside. Anastacia looked over the room.. This room is so ka-yuuut! There are books everywhere, it's like a vintage room and the ambiance is so good that you would never think that it's a office'. She continued to walk as she admired the place... when she reached for the table, a man suddenly popped his head out from under the table. The man sits properly on his chair and quickly fixes his tie "Sorry I was reading something under the table". The guy quickly grabbed a paper from his side and he asked her some questions, including Anastacia's name, age etc. " May I know the reason for divorce? Is it a one-sided divorce? Or does your husband also agree with it? The attorney seems to be interviewing her, his checking something on the paper while he asked questions. Anastacia was about to answer when the door opened and Mr. John, her butler, pops in.. Mr. John was the one that her in-laws assigned to look after her since she doesn't want to have a maid in her home, she agreed to have only one person to always tail her. Mr. John is also the one who drives her in the office of the attorney. '' Madam, there's an emergency in the capital and the Duke was in a critical condition". The butler bowed his head after speaking.. I will be back some other time" Anastacia hurriedly walked to exit the door without waiting for the attorney's response.. She shook her head to the secretary and continued to walk to the car while Mr. John followed her back. Anastacia doesn't know what to asked first. She began to bite her fingers. She usually does this every time she feels nervous. "I don't know the status madam, I can't contact Baron again but he said that the young master saved Duke Clinton from an attack which caused the young master in a critical condition as the Baron said" Anastacia felt unsettled as she looked over the mirror, waiting for them to arrived in the hospital. But it's a good thing to see that the Duke isn't in a critical condition.' she looked at her husband again who's having a conversation with Duke Clinton before she twisting the knob and putting some strength to push the door. Baron is the Duke's second hand, you can also call him Malik's butler since his been running errands for Malik since he was a kid. The two man looked at her as she walks toward her husband "How are you? can you tell me what happened" the man just stared at her he didn't utter a word, he didn't move. You don't have to worry, he's doing good and there was no serious injury at all except for the wound on his forehead" She was about to speak when Malik grabbed her by her arm and pull her into his arms. " I'll be coming back tomorrow get well soon" she hurriedly said as if her voice wasn't trembling. She turned her back and headed to the door when she heard her husband's voice "Do you have anything more important to do while your husband is sick?"
