Hunter’s POV:
After waking up to Emily being in my room and she got into the hospital bed with me, we stayed like that for a few hours just talking. We talked about all sorts of things that happened over the last week, like the fact that I have been acting Alpha while her dad has been gone and all of the different training things that she went through. It was good to just talk with her. Justin popped in to inform us that he was released and that he was going to head back to his room at the compound before doing some work today. He and Emily seemed to be awkward until he left, but when I asked her about it she just said that she felt bad for hurting him the way that she did.
