Chapter 6 : Can I go to the camping trip ?

A few month's later I had fully become close friends with most of my class, even Nick joined the circle and became good friends with Christoff. The guys accepted him better now that they knew more of him even if he was gay. We are sitting in the class waiting till Mr Deans would come into the room when Kiki asked me a question “Mika, you say you al find your own soul mate. Did you find your mate already?” I shook my head and look up to Christoff for giving them the answers. They were alright with the fact that he was my translator since they found out we could communicate in our minds. Some of them were really jealous of that fact. Christoff “No he doesn't. His father doesn't let him outside with pack meetings, nor when other packs come over. Since he is an omega he thinks that he will never find his mate. So he thinks nothing of it and never letting him leave the house”. Kiki”Ahhhh that god damned bastard!”

Mr Deans came into the room when she said that. Mr Deans “Why sorry for being a bastard Kiki!”. He laughed and the rest of the class as well with her timing. She blushed at that. “Sorry Mr Deans! That wasn't meant for you!” Mr Deans “Yes dear I know, I was just teasing you a bit ha ha”.

Half way true the lesson he stopped and handed over papers. I look up and saw CAMPING TRIP.

I looked up at Kiki and Christoff. Christoff “Every year we are having a camping trip into the woods there's a big cabin there with other school's from the same year as us. To interact with other people and just to have fun. I really hope that you are aloud to come as well. It's a two weeks camping trip with a lot of fun!” I felt instantly a bit jealous because I would defenetly not be able to go. I sighed. Kiki “Yes Mika we would love it if you could come as well!” The rest off the class nodded. And I look up at christoff asking for translation. Christoff “I would like to come but I doubt that my father will let me go. I will try off course, but don't have much hope for it”. They nodded and look a bit sad that they know my father would most likely never let me go. After this class was dismissed and we went to the gym. I take my bag out off the locker when Nick came next to me. Nick “Mika if you need my help to do something please tell me alright”. I smile saying a silent thank you which make him smile in response. I noticed his behavior around me was much softer these days as he tries to help me which was weird since he mostly hold his distance from me since I threw him across the room.

Once gym was over I went to change clothes and left to go outside where my brother most likely would be. But when I came there mother was in the car instead of Neil. I came outside and wanted to go to the car when Christoff stopped me. Mother stepped out off the car looking at the both off us. Christoff “Is that your mother ?” I nodded. He smiles at me, "She looks a bit familiar though I'm certain I haven't ever seen her. I take his arm and let him towards the car. Mama came walking towards us, she was a bit bigger then us. She keeps looking between the two of us. Christoff “Ma'am, Mika is asking why you keep looking like that”. Mom was a bit shocked at Christoff. Mom “You are able to hear him speak?” Christoff nods “Yes Ma'am. Mom “Please don't call me ma'am I'm not that old, besides it sounds like I'm some b***h”. We are laughing when the rest of my class comes outside looking at the three of us. Kiki came jumping down and put her arms around my neck I smiled. Kiki “Christoff who is that?” Christoff “That's Mika's mother i***t”. “Oops sorry ma'am ! I didn't mean any disrespect”. Mom was laughing at her fear a bit. “Please don't call me ma'am! Call me whatever you like, but defenetly NOT ma'am! But yes Mika and Neil are both my sons”. Kiki nods, looking up at her “We got a letter/invitation from the school to go camping for two weeks next month, we really wish that Mika can come as well”. Mamma was a bit shocked when Kiki just dryly asking her that. “I'm sorry I wish I could say just go ahead, since I know Mika will love that, but his father isn't that easy to convince”. Kiki nods “Yes he said the same that he can be really difficult”. Mom looks at me and then at them. “How much do they know Mika?” I sighed Christoff “We know everything, even the werewolf part he whispers”. Mom was shocked to say the least. “Mika! You know what will happen if he KNOWS! But please call me Marie. Christoff “Sorry Marie, there was an indecent between Mika and that i***t over there. He is an martial arts champion and he and Mika clashed when Mika tried to protect me. And because I can understand what he is saying in my head he told us with the same warning that if we would tell anyone else it may result in our death. So we are truly careful of this”. She sights “Seems like you've been talking this thing very thoroughly. That man can kill without remorse, even human children without pardon. If he seems fit he kills. He even attacks his own son just because he is an omega without a wolf. So Christoff whatever you do, PLEASE, please, please never set foot on our resident in the woods, same goes for you guys never set foot there or he'll kill you.” My friends look a bit afraid when she says it like that and all nodded confirming that they wont come. Mom “Thank you, I appreciate it that you all like these two very much, specially Mika since he had and has a hard life in our pack. I truly appreciate this and wish to thank you all by supporting him and became his friend. Alright Mika it's time to head back and see what we can do about that trip to the woods for you”. I nodded smiling to her. And turned around to my friends hugging Kiki and Nicky before getting in the car.

When we got home father was sitting on the long leather couch and was reading something. When he heard us coming in he looks up. “That took a while”. You could hear the angry undertone underneath. Mama “I'm sorry Alpha, there where a few things Mika had to do and was asking things he didn't really understand, besides that the teacher gave him this, a trip to the woods in two weeks”. He looked up and taking the form “I got a call over this indeed from a Mr Deans saying that he was your teacher is that correct?” I nodded. He read the text on the form and suddenly he placed his autograph. Me and my mother where shocked to see him actually do that. Father saw us looking shocked and he had an evil smile. “Since this means you'll be gone here for two weeks I'll gladly sign it”. He gave back the paper to me. I look it over to see if he really signed it. And he truly did. Damn this is a miracle! Perhaps I should ask more often if I can stay with friends for the weekend. But I guess that's going to be a long shot. I thanked father and give mom a kiss and went upstairs to do my homework before dinner. After dinner I take a shower, and let my muscles relax from the stress whether or not he would actually sign the paper.

Suddenly Christoff made his connection in my head “And do you know if you are able to go Mika?” Nice timing damn. “Yes Christoff I have it signed, so I'm officially aloud to go camping!” Christoff yelled in my head “Yeeeeeeeeeeah!!! Finally we can have a bit of fun for two weeks!” I laughed “Please don't tell the others I really want to make this a surprise until it's time for departure”. Christoff laughed at the idea “Yeah man that's going to be an awesome stunt! The girls are going to get nuts when they see you there at the bus”. I laughed as well. Christoff “Was I disturbing you?” “No I am taking a shower that's all. I just finished my homework and dinner and was planning to go to bed later on”. At that point father suddenly stood in the doorway. “s**t my father is here in the shower I'll talk to you later Christoff” I shut him out and at that point father suddenly grabbed my neck again. It just healed and now he was doing the same s**t again. Please someone help me! I pleaded in my head. I felt myself slipping away in his grip when mama and Neil came rushing in stopping him. He let me go and I fell asleep. I couldn't keep my eyes open due to the sudden shock and loss of air. Mama was screaming at me trying to keep me awake. But with no success. Her crying face was the last think I see before I slipped in a sleep.

When I woke up I look around seeing that I was in the pack infirmary. Mama is sitting next to me still sleeping and the doc came walking in. “Mika it seems your awake. Can you lift your hand for me please?” I tried to lift my hand but it was a bit difficult. But I could manage to do it. The doc nodded her head and came checking up on me taking temperatures etc. I asked her how long I was asleep for since there wasn't a clock telling me what time it was. I could only see the sun true the window. “You've been out for three day's now. He truly grip your neck tight with the lack of oxygen. Because of this you needed to rest for several days since healing is difficult for you without a wolf and it will take longer”. I nodded. At that point mama woke up crying when she saw me awake, her face was a bit brused her lip busted and had been bleeding. A black eye and god knows what else..But she was still worring about me. “Mika finally your awake! It's been three days I was getting more and more depressed that you wouldn't wake up anymore and would slip into a coma!” I hug her and pat her back with the little strength I had. Trying to comfort her. I look at the doc asking her how bad my neck was. And how bad her injuries where. You could see the look of horror on her face so that would mean it was pretty bad. She gave me a small mirror so I could check for myself. Yes it was certainly worse than normal. He really was trying to kill me damn it! My neck had deep black and purple spots all over my neck no space was spared where he had his both hand placed. Mama was still crying. Neil came in shocked as well to see how bad it was. He was getting pissed. And gave me a hug. “Mika I'm glad your awake we where so worried. Specially since you want to go camping the next week”. I nodded. Doc “He goes camping?” Neil “Yes they have a camping trip at their school and father actually signed it so he can go”. Even doc was shocked when he said that. Doc “Mika if you are feeling better by this evening I'll release you from the hospital. You just need to get back to your daily life so you can get your strength back by eating etc. You can also go to the two week trip, but before you actually go I want to see you to get a check up alright ?” I nodded and saying a silent thank you to her. She smiled at me “it's alright Mika I'm the pack's doctor so I need to treat everyone”. I smiled at her. Then poining towards mama. Doc sighed. "She has around the same bad wounds as you. She has a black eye, a busted lip that needed glue. She also was" Mama stopt her "No not that" Doc nods. What was mama keeping from me ? That she was r***d ? I look up at mama she avoided my eyes, so most likely that was the damn truth. I just wish I was stronger so I could protect my family!

Suddenly Neil trows a chair to the wall. "Damn bastard! I wish I was stronger than this. I'm training my ass of and I'm not coming near him in power! Damn it! I want to protect my family!" Doc "Neil calm down, you three getting worked up isn't good for the two patients here right now. you all need to be relaxing and taking a breather. I sighed.

Later that evening I was released from the hospital. Mama signed the release. We came outside where a few of the pack where there. A girl I didn't know “Ahhhhh isn't that the i***t omega who is going to the human school?” Every one who was there was laughing. Mama was getting pissed “Come Mika we need to go inside and get dinner ready”. I nodded thank full that she was talking to me to block the idiots out.

The next day I went to school again. I came in the class every one was already there. Kiki came to me and she gasped when seeing my neck. “Mika what the hell happened who did this to you?! Was it your father again?!” I nodded. The rest of the class comes towards me as well looking at me with big eyes. I look to Christoff “His father did this. He was out for three days he needed to recover since he doesn't have a wolf it will take a bit longer to heal”. Kiki and the girls where crying when Christoff said that it was my father again. They started to give me a group hug even the guys did the same. I'm feeling quite blessed to have friends like them who are actually worried about me. I smiled but also cried because of this. Kiki “Why are you crying Mika?” Christoff “He's crying because he is happy. Happy that we are there for him and care for him what happened and all. Beside his mother and brother no one ever cared for him in the pack because he is an omega. So he is truly happy”. The girls where crying even harder now when Christoff told them what I had in my head. I'm happy that they really care what I think of them and specially now that they know I really care for them as my friends.

Mr Deans clears his through trying to get our attention. “Alright class. I know this is something that's very bad to Mika but I'm truly pissed that we can't do s**t as teachers towards his father. If I call him then I think he will still get the worse of it. Even if we call the cops we can't exactly tell them that they are werewolves. We or them will be killed if they go there. I just wish there was something we can do for you Mika.” I nodded. Not wanting to have a call from him asking why he abuses his own son.

The class begins and I hand over my homework. He smiles “Thank you Mika did you understand it ?” I shook my head “What did you not understand?”I showed him the math homework and the paper for the trip. But wrote inside my school notebook that he couldn't tell that he has this that I wanted to surprise the rest. He writes down on the notebook “I understand, I'm glad your able to come Mika!” When he sees that I smile, Mr Deans “Alright seems like you did well though true the exercise”. I nod and wrote “My brother has been helping me since I don't understand how this works. It's hard for me to understand this level of math. The rest is easy for me but this is just so hard I really don't get it”. He looks up to me and smiles “Alright Mika, I think you need a bit more help in class is that alright? I think someone here in the class can help mentor you if you want”. I nod thankful for the suggestion since I truly don't understand math at all. I hate it. Mr Deans “Christoff can you help Mika during class? He doesn't really understand the math questions and your the most able to understand him what he's saying without using a paper. Beside that you always get straight A's”. Christoff “Yes sir if Mika is alright with that I'll gladly help. Math is quite easy”. In his head “For you it might be damn easy show off, but for me it's f*****g hard”. He started laughing.

The class was watching us trying to understand what the hell was going on. Kiki “Damn it Christoff what the hell does Mika say?” He laughed again “He was saying that he truly doesn't understand math and that I was a bloody show off”. They also started laughing. Nicky “Yeah your a damn show off when it comes to math. Always straight A's it's like you are cheating!” Christoff was smiling “Alright Mika if you have questions when we are doing math please ask me okay? I'll gladly help you out with anything. Even if your at home you can mind link me”. I smiled at him and went back to my seat. In my head “Did you gave the paper to the teacher?” I nodded “Yes he has it I also wrote down that I wanted to keep it a secret for the rest of them, and he agreed that it was something fun to do and would keep quiet about it”. Christoff “Awesome, Mr Deans is always a good sport when it comes to things like these he gladly help”.

We started the lessons afterwards. When I was home I was going straight to my room since father was downstairs and I didn't want to see him nor needing to talk to him when I didn't need to the man scared me to death, and the bastard knows that and is laughing me in the face for that.
