Chapter 4 : Abuse

I came home give my mother a kiss on her cheek, and wanted to go upstairs, but she stops me. “Mika, ( I look up at her ) do you have a bit of homework to do this evening ?” I nodded and showed her the things I need to do this evening. She nods and went true the things I need to do. She looks up at me “If you go to have a shower, then work on the homework till it's time for dinner, then we can have a nice meal this evening. Your father isn't here so I'm gonna make pancakes.” I smiled hugging her, I love pancakes. She learn't a new recipe from a Dutch woman and ever since she wanted to try it. Since they where a lot thinner then the ones we eat in the morning. She said that they eat this for dinner, with things such as syrup, sugar or any other toping you would like. Some even would do peanut butter and sugar together on it. Not by any change I would do that. Makes me shrugs. She smiles and gave me a slap on the butt once I turned towards my bedroom. But I stopped remembering I wanted to tell her about my new friends, and Christoff that they said he looks so much like me that we could be twins. I want to know what she would tough off it. So I took my phone out off my pocket, but before I could show it to her, my father barged in. He looks super pissed off. And saw me. I wanted to run away, but he grabbed my neck from behind. “Mika! What the hell you where having fun! I haven't been putting you in that damn human school for you to get some fun! You are there to get something a degree what so ever so you can be a bit of use!” I tried to free myself from his grip but it was to strong as I bungled in the air grasping for air. My brother raced in and put his hand on fathers shoulders. Neil ( my brother ) “Dad please, at least let him have a bit of fun. There humans so they will never be able to be part of this world, he needs to leave it behind once he graduate anyway”. My father looked at Neil pissed off and let his grip go a bit so I could breath a bit. Tomorrow this is gonna be brused bad. Damn it. I already have the recent claw marks on my back that are still healing. And now this s**t again. I sooo want to meet my mate if I can even have that life. Then I will join her pack and be out off here. Off course I'll miss my brother Neil and my mother, but this abuse is something I can't take much longer. It will be the damn death of me!

A few minutes later that looked like hours, he let's me go. Mother looks at me “Mika go was up and go make your schoolwork now please”. I didn't even take my time to nod. I grabbed my mobile, and my bag and run upstairs and locked the door. Downstairs I could hear my mom yell at my father. She wasn't his mate but married off to him by her parents. Since she's a Beta they didn't want her to lead the pack. And also because she's to soft. They wanted someone who ruled with an iron hand like my father. That's why they are married. But mother rather wants to be away from him. If I find my mate I will make sure that she's going to come with me.Or I with her. I want to leave this damn hell hole.

After my shower I made my homework. Most of it was finished when it was time for dinner. The Dutch pancakes actually tasted very good. Specially now that father wasn't here anymore. It hurt my throat a bit due to my fathers doing. But it tasted very good. Because of that I asked mom if she would make them again. She smiles and nodded that she will. She stands up and walked over to me. Giving me a hug and buried her head in my neck. “Sorry Mika I wish I could do something against your father, but I just can't. I'm way to weak to stand in his way and he knows that. I'm so sorry for being such a weak mother and not being able to protect my own son!” She started crying, and I was padding her back in comfort. I know she wants to help, but I'm already glad that she is an very nice mother to me and always try'll to find things to help me with. So I grabbed my notepad and wrote that down which resulted in her crying even more.

After dinner and all I went upstairs to check my neck, and grab another shower to get all the stress out. After my shower I tried to make the rest of my homework, but couldn't since math isn't my strong point. So I texted my brother if he could help me out. He came upstairs after a few minutes sitting on my bed next to me. He looks up to me “Mika are you alright ?” I look up to him and nodded. I silently said “Thank you” my lips moved and he knew what I said. He puts his big hand on my shoulder. And put a bit off force in his palm to make me feel a bit better that he is trying to help me out.Wich made me cry. He hugs me until my tears stopt streamin. He then turns towards the text book. “Alright Mika, can you show me which part you don't understand?” I pointed with my pen toward the page and let my pen fall al true the pages showing that I didn't understand ANY of it. I sooo hated math. He laughed, understanding that it was difficult for me. “Alright Mika, you need to do this and this, and then put this number here. What is the answer  you divide this to that?” I use my calculator to see what he showed me, he nodded showing me that I did it right with the calculation, and the answer I got was right. He smiles at me. “See? It ain't that hard if you know what part to get first. The rest is the same as this particularly exercise. Do you want me to stay here till you finish this?” I nodded. Writing down on my note pad “Thank you Neil, this really helps me out, I sooo don't understand this s**t”. He laughs at my remark on it. Patting my head. Once I'm done with all off my homework, I went downstairs, and hugged mama, she was sitting in the sofa trying to watch the tv. But I can see she has red underneath her eyes which means she's been crying this whole time. I sneaked up from behind and hugged her. She looks up to me with a small smile. “Are you done with your homework dear?” I nodded and saying a silent goodnight with another hug. She put her head in my chest and wrapped her arms around me. Before I go back upstairs.
