Chapter 28On Monday morning I discuss the new lead with my team. I've had all day on Sunday to consider my options, and know now what I must do. As Alain hasn't called me with information about Eddy's whereabouts, or even a phone number for him, I must assume that he has nothing to tell me. So, I won't question him again just now.
I ask Marie-Therese to check the records and confirm that all four boys were arrested together. Then I instruct my team.
“We need the last known addresses for Eddy Martinez and his mother,” I say. “We must also speak to Madame Meyer and Luke Meyer once again, in case they can give us a lead.
