Chapter 11 Whoever

Such a simple conversation seemed to exhaust her. She clenched the bed sheet, coughing badly. A moment of hypoxia in the brain, almost made her fell from the bed. She thought perhaps she was really not that good. Gim's frowned invisibly, he couldn’t helping reaching out to help her. As he almost touched her, he forced himself to pause in the last second. The darkness in his eyes was thicker. Her body almost collapsed, but Vichy bit her lips and kept herself not to fall down totally. She clenched the bed sheet so tightly that blood almost faded away from her finger tips. She tried her best to speak with a smile: "The Hall Group is so powerful, haven’t you got the investigation report yet?" She still had enough money to afford the fight against the House of L. However, she couldn’t manage a flawless plot.  Now that Gim had located her, then, he definitely knew the truth. "You can’t do it on your own, who is helping you?" Gim's hands hanging on both sides clenched tightly. The blue veins swelled on the back of his hands violently. He managed to control himself and asked sternly. "Who is the person behind everything?” When he deliberately approached Vichy in the first place, he had checked her background. She was an orphan had no relatives. She came from another state. All the information and news were in accordance with each other. An orphan could not manage all these on her own. When Vichy confronted his persuasion, her eye expression was plain and empty. She looked at him, facing his anger and sneering. "What makes you so sure that I can’t manage all these? How much did you know about me?" Gim's eyes turned darker than before, and his throat rolled up and down for a few time. Finally, he did not speak even one word. He really didn't know much about her. He didn't know her preferences as well. Of course, he had gone through all her background in the reports. The only thing he knew about her was that she was a clean slate. He cared her just because she could serve as a perfect organ donor for Sherly. He didn’t pay much attention on insignificant information. Her life was just only some trivial things to him. For the first time, he felt this female stood in front of him was so familiar as well as unfamiliar. His chest was blocked by some irritable and indescribable emotion. "You could not answer my questions." His answer didn’t beyond Vichy’s expectation, her hands still clung to the sheets, but she managed to give him a just-as- well smile. She suppressed the sour and tearing feeling writhed in her heart. She was too stupid. She was always obsessed with his tenderness. Love blinded her eyes. She never noticed that his gentleness only floating on the surface. Even those holiday gifts were sent by his assistant. Love shared by them was never existed. It’s a monodrama from the very beginning. "I am asking you, who is your accomplice?" Gim's silence remained only a moment. Then, he bent over to ask her. His eyes were cold and there was no slight trace of heat in them. It seemed that she had to answer his question. "That’s none of your business. Moreover, I have been disengaged to you anymore, Master. Hall. Even if I have some affairs with somebody else, that’s none of your business at all, isn't it?" A sudden pain writhed in her abdomen. But Vichy still looked up at him, said with a smile as nothing had happened. She pretended that she didn’t mean to irritate him. "Affairs? Somebody who?" Gim's voice was deeper than before. These three words fought their way out of his lips. "Whoever." Vichy didn't look away. She stared at him and said, " Whoever is better than you." Her jaw was pinched again.
