Episode 1: The Stranger in the Mist
The night air was heavy with fog, curling around the old stone bridge like ghostly fingers. Elena tightened her coat, her heart racing as she crossed. She had walked this path a hundred times, but tonight felt different — charged, alive, as if the shadows themselves were watching.
A figure emerged from the mist. Tall, broad‑shouldered, with eyes that glowed faintly silver. He didn’t move, didn’t speak, but the surrounding air pulsed with something ancient.
“Who are you?” Elena whispered, though her voice trembled.
The stranger tilted his head, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “You shouldn’t be here,” he said, his voice low, magnetic. “This place belongs to the forgotten … and to me.”
Her pulse quickened. She should have run, but instead she stepped closer. Something about him pulled her in — danger wrapped in allure.
Then, as the fog thickened, his hand brushed hers. Cold. Electric. A spark shot through her veins, and in that instant she saw flashes — blood on moonlit stones, a wolf’s howl splitting the night, and her own face, marked with a crescent scar she didn’t yet have.
Elena gasped, stumbling back. “What did you do to me?”
The stranger’s silver eyes burned brighter. “I didn’t do anything,” he said softly. “I only showed you what you already are.”
The mist swallowed his form, leaving Elena alone on the bridge, her heart pounding with a truth she couldn’t yet understand.
