Panic filled me as I ran the few steps, crashing to my knees the second I reached Nate. I was frantically checking over his whole body. I tried to scream for help, but the cheers from everyone else overpowered mine. They were cheering for the success of the spell working while I felt like I was losing the only person left who meant anything to me. Luca was the next to notice something was wrong and was by my side trying to push me out of the way to attend to his brother.
"Nate! NATE!" Luca was calling his name, with nothing happening.
"Stand back Luca!" I yelled as I tried to assess the situation
