Morgan
Three Months Later:
"Are you ready to give in?" The lead rouge asked, standing at the door of my own personal hell.
I looked up at him through my swollen blackened eyes and smirked.
"By now you should know the answer to that, then again you would have to have a brain for that." I spat, smirking just to piss him off.
Stepping forward, he raises his hand and slaps me hard across the face, anger distorting his features. Leaning down, he yells "By now you would think you would know better than to incite my anger!"
Grinning, I spit a mouth full of blood in his face. " Go to hell", I spat.
"You will be mine!" he screams, kicking me.
Holding back a groan, I raised my head and looked at him, refusing to say anything.
"I could just mark you now and be done with it." he threatened.
" You could try... the problem with that plan is if, and I do mean, IF you do manage to get me marked you will never get me to mark you, and this ridiculous plan you have of taking over my pack as Alpha and making yourself and your mangy little followers legitimate will never happen." I said taunting him, hoping it would bring him just a little closer. Squinting his eyes at me, he bared his teeth and a growl ripping from his throat he lunged.
The moment he lunged towards me, I grabbed the silver chains holding my wrists, ignoring the burn and lifted myself, putting slack in the chains. I wrapped my legs around the rouge and, lifting him, I wrapped the chain around his neck and pulled.
"Like I said, go to hell!" I snarled and with one last jerk I broke his neck. With my legs still wrapped around him, I used all my strength to hold him in the air, letting out a whimper. I strained against the pain of using my muscles after three months of being completely inactive and severely dehydrated, and starving. I unwrapped the chain from his neck and searched his pockets. Pulling out the key to the chains, I dropped his dead body and unlocked the chains, ignoring the deep burns the silver had put on my wrists. Running on pure adrenaline, I turned, heading for the door, only to stop abruptly when three large wolves came through the door. Their coats were clean and their eyes showed they were not rouges. The one standing in the middle was the largest and had deep green eyes and midnight black fur. The two on either side of him were different shades of brown. One had brown eyes, the other blue, and they were slightly smaller than the first.
Running on adrenaline, I crouched down in a fighting position. Emitting an almost feral sounding growl warning them not to come any closer, I tensed, ready for the attack to come. The black wolf closes his eyes and shifts to his human form, taking the shorts the other wolf hands him. He slips them on and steps forward.
" You have nothing to fear from us. We're here to help" he says with a slight smile as he looks behind me at the dead rouge lying on the cement behind me.
"though it doesn't look like you need much."
"who are you" I asked, straightening out of my crouch. I know I wont be able to stay on my feet for much longer. I feel the adrenaline fading, leaving pain and exhaustion in its wake.
"I am Alexander, Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack, your sister sent me" he said, reaching a hand out to me.
"Tory? Is she ok? I asked, stumbling forward towards them. Just as I came within reach, I stumbled and found myself cradled in strong arms. I looked up and as I looked into his green eyes I could feel a rumble coming through his chest.
"Mate" he said, his eyes changing from green to black for a moment.
"I don't feel anything" I whispered, confused and passed out.
