"Cali Alden," she adds as she shakes my hand firmly.
The name rings a bell in my mind. I can't quite remember where it is I have heard it but it ignites my curiosity. I wait until she invites me inside the priestess' house I'm after all a vampire and I don't want to burn for being ignorant.
"A lot has changed in here," I comment as I walk around.
"Yeah, I figured the place could do with some changes. Just because we are witches doesn't mean we have to live in the gloom and oldness." She chuckles and dismisses the topic right away. "Anyway, what can I do for you?"
I take a seat opposite her and relax. I honestly didn't expect to find someone else in place of the former priestess. I haven't heard news about her departure. Of course I'm not surprised that I wouldn't be notifie
