The following day dawns faster than I would have wished. It is time to face reality and face the students with the truth. I don't know how they will react but the most important thing is that they will know and understand their purpose and their powers which is what I am aiming for. First, I need to talk to Roman separately.
It's almost nine in the morning and he is still at Wren's but I'm sure he will show up soon. I finish up on making breakfast and Brooke joins me before I settle down.
"Good morning?" she greets and proceeds to make herself comfortable at the table.
"Morning," I join her without much enthusiasm and minutes later, I look up to find her observing me. "What?"
"Try to relax. It's going to be fine."
"You don't know that. He already thinks I'm a bad mother."
