This is not how I figured this trip would go. ‘It didn't even cross my mind’ should be a more accurate phrase but it turns out, dealing with crazy is never going to be far from my life. I guess I shouldn't think that like that since Wren is my friend but I'm not afraid of saying that she scares the hell out of me especially when she gets like this.
I step on the gas and accelerate down the road hoping to get to my aunt's house before she wakes up and goes berserk. Out of the corner of my eye, I notice Brooke watching me.
"What?" I ask without taking my eyes off the road.
"You should try to relax. You are throwing off really heated killer vibes around the car."
"Are you sure those are from me?" I ask looking at the backseat through the rear view mirror.
