Sitting in the front seat of the car, I still can't believe we are doing this. I didn't think Alistair would let us drive out of school just me and Sage to visit Sage's childhood home. Does she really trust us that much even though we are not yet eighteen?
Sage has been gone for several minutes now to grab some stuff she had forgotten. It took a lot of probing her just to be sure that she wasn't lying about asking for permission. I guess she is as convincing as she says because, why else is Alistair not here?
Just as my patience is about to run out, I see her walking back hurriedly. We will be gone for a day or two depending on how this trip goes. I am happy to be out for a while, I do love road trips but the bonus is getting to visit Sage's home. I haven't had so many trips— no
