It's almost ten when we finally get together that night and Alistair announces that we will be going back to school that morning. I'm sure what happened to me shook them but I feel like having me locked up behind those walls doesn't make it any safe. Whoever wants to come after me will still do it.
Alistair made sure principal Grayson is locked away in the numerous cells at the academy so there's no fear of running into him. I'm sure it is the dark whisperer who is making them like this and I have no choice but to agree. I had hoped to spend some time with Sage here but I guess that will have to change. Roman's hold on my hand in that moment however makes me smile. Yeah, being with him makes me happy too.
But speaking of... where is Sage and Tucker anyway?
