I pace up and down in the office pausing for seconds at the door. This was a bad idea. A really bad one and I haven't made one as grave as this one yet. I can't see anything beyond the door and the minutes are flying by too fast. It feels like they have been gone for half an hour and each second now feels closer to being caught.
I can't be their lookout much longer. I don't know what's worse, being left here to guard them or choosing not to go. Maybe being inside with them was a better choice. Okay, f**k this!
