Even before Alistair turns to me after hanging up, I know Brooke is lying. All that pain I felt just a few minutes ago can't just be a coincidence. I haven't felt anything like it beside the first time I turned. All my instincts point toward Wren and I'm sure whatever I felt was something affecting her. I don't know how but I do.
"I'm going after her. Tell me where she is!" I demand even before she says anything.
"Roman, you can't do that. Wren is okay and besides, it's a long distance from here. They left hours ago!"
