Chapter Three: RoomThey put her in a room that's much larger than the one she has at home. The room is fully furnished, a chest laying in the corner and a dressing table with jewelry and skincare boxes arranged neatly on top.
She wonders if she's imposing on someone else's possessions, but there's a box at the dressing table with her name on it and there are no foreign scents in the room. even the mattress smells brand new, not a single scent clinging to it.
The one at home is second hand and smells like strangers.
