8. THE PARTY-PERFECT

770 Words
{I chose to wear my black-velvet tuxedo for the party with a beautiful black bow and a white shirt beneath. I have my closet in my office too because it becomes easier to just become ready when I'm in much of a hurry. My closet is on the left side of my big cabin. My cabin is made up of white and brown interiors and also there are a few plants kept besides my chair. I love plants. I adore them and am fond of them. My closet contains a small room where all the lines are filled with my luxurious and expensive clothes, some extra beautiful and limited edition tie's too. My custom made pants also make my closet look full. I try on and finally select my lavender musk strong perfume and spray that all over me. I wear my shiny leather boots which enhance my look. I finish my look with an expensive, diamond studded watch. I gel my hair and trim my beard a little to make my look more accurate. Yes, and I am all set. The party is gonna start at seven in the evening and there's still half an hour left for me to depart. To pass my time I read a book from my book-shelf that's just hanging up on my wall having compartments for each genre of books. I continue to watch over the time as I read my book and the time finally arrives. I like to go to parties after they have started because I don't like to wait for it to start. But I don't like to be a party-spoiler either. So I tell my secretary and my driver to be on time correctly at seven in the evening, so I can reach there by eight at least. A FEW MOMENTS LATER: I go downstairs of my beautiful glass cabin and everyone in the office, each one of my employees, especially the female ones stare at me in awe. I think I am looking that good. I always look good. I give a smirk to all of them. I can see a few of them fainting from inside. I can never be punctual in my life. As I said, I am not into going somewhere early unnecessarily. I like to visit parties but not at the time they are just starting. There's just no mood for it if you go early. The excitement and fun of going somewhere is in going late or in the middle of the time because that's when people and the situations are most hyped up. I see my black SUV coming towards me. My secretary opens the door for me and I get inside adjusting my tuxedo. My secretary sits besides the driver.} "Sir, do we have to pick up Payal ma'am on the way?" My secretary asks me. "Of course, I can't go to the party without her." I say "Driver, first drive to Payal madam's home." He says The driver nods. {Payal Mehra, my girlfriend and my business partner. Her dad died two years ago and was born with her mother dead. Since then, my dad took her as his own daughter and so, slowly began our relationship. We have been dating for the past one and a half years. She knows me inside out. She knows about my stuff and also handles my irritating and arrogant nature impressively. I take a quick look into my iphone and see that there is news everywhere in the business market regarding me. I am the youngest, eligible bachelor of India to achieve this much success. Meanwhile, we reached Payal's home. She is waiting outside for me. She is wearing a lovely, flowing—evening gown which is bright red in color and finished the look with dark red lipstick. I also like what she is wearing in her ear. Are those pearls? Yes they are. They look quite pretty on her pretty face. I get out of the car to open the door for her.} "Hey!" I begin "Hey! Hi" She gives me a hug. "Looking Gorgeous as always." I compliment her. "And you look handsome and charming as ever." She says to flatter me. "Come, get inside." I gesture, chivalrously. "So what did you do the whole day?" She asks, taking my hand in hers. "Nothing, only work. You say, what about you?" I say. "Me too, nothing. I was off today. Went to my designers' this morning to select this beautiful dress." She says. "It sure looks amazing on you." I say. "Thank you." She relaxes her head on my shoulder.
