Chapter 12 Ava The café slowed down for the evening and Ava began bagging up her leftovers. The girls would be around the café in the morning to finish them off. The day had gone by fast, and even though she loved to bake and prided herself on always serving fresh baked goods; having the day off from that part of her job had been nice. None of the customers had even noticed. As she bagged up the remaining pepperoni rolls, she thought about Terrell. Ava wished she knew more about where he worked or lived so she could surprise him with her leftovers. As much as she loved watching people eat her food, she loved watching Terrell enjoy it more than anything. She also knew he could easily polish off what she had left, and then some.
