I HAD NO IDEA HOW LONG I chased the darting brown tail through the trees. As I ran, in my wolf form, laughter rolled through my mind at the thrill of the chase, though no such sounds escaped. With Sean, I raced, dashed, played, tumbled for what seemed like hours before I collapsed to the forest floor, where I lay with moist soil and twigs pressed against my stomach, excitement pulsing through my body.
