We called the police the next morning, and despite me wanting the world to swallow me whole, they were very understanding and told me it was a frequently reported situation. Although I was nervous about the next steps, they also told me they would have their colleagues in Cumbria speak to him, and warn him of the consequences of any further unwanted interaction.
