"It's okay James, you are safe. You are so safe," she says to me, looking at me with great concern.
"Serena?!" I hear a familiar voice calling loudly from further away up the slope that I now know leads up toward her home.
Within a minute I see a dark figure running toward us against the backdrop of the snow. It is Austin.
He looks shocked to see me and he immediately turns to Serena.
"Explain," he exclaims brashly.
"Nine rogues, Aus, NINE. This was planned. They attacked us in McGreers back field. Someone needs to check on Sen, they broke through the doors straight after us," Serena explains quickly. Austin nods and then looks blankly to the side for a moment.
